The structured fountain lawn, located within sight of the Pavilion, completes the enchanting effect. The Garden room with 360 views of Wicksteed Park from the top floor, allows for interment settings for smaller events of up to 100 guests. Fabulous place, budget pleasing but shocking management Fabulous place, budget pleasing but shocking management
If anyone thinking of having a small wedding at Wicksteed and want honest feedback, the good, the bad and everything inbetween please feel free to email me with your questions. Over all we had a great day but it could have been a fantastic day if only the managers took a bit of care and actually were interested. Nice people but some really important parts of the wedding we felt let down which were simple asks. Example no one bothered to tell me the bride when I should come into the room for the cemoeory, I was left in another room on my own waiting which resulted in me completely missing my entrance part of song. Main course not what we ordered and others cold. There loads more items like this, however there also some great parts too, some of the staff did try to help, like security were scrubbing the terrace for us on the morning of the wedding. We asked for extras like cocktails (at extra cost of course) and an external company wicksteed hired in were out of this world really made the evening super pleased with there service. I have offered to provide feedback to wicksteed but no one been in touch so I am happy to share with any up and coming brides. [email protected].
