Skylark Farm is in an excellent location and accessible by all major roads and towns such as Daventry, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon, Banbury and Rugby. From April 2018 glamping became available in Skylarks wooded area. An excellent way for you and your guests to enjoy yourselves into the night and to the fullest. We have All Inclusive Packages which include Food, Drink, DJ and more. Or you can design your own wedding with our Bespoke pagackages.

This venue is stunning! Beautifully set up, decorated, friendly and helpful staff, very organized! Our day went so smoothly thanks to the owners and family at Skylark farm! We had a really wonderful August wedding day at Skylark Farm. We chose Skylark for its beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere. Sam, Dave and the staff did an excellent job of looking after our guests and coordinating the day. We chose the table carvery option for our wedding breakfast which our guests loved - the meats were cooked beautifully and the vegetables were delicious! For the evening we had a pizza buffet, which was a selection of freshly made pizzas out of the outdoor pizza oven. We would definitely recommend Skylark for your wedding venue!We had a really wonderful August wedding day at Skylark Farm. We chose Skylark for its beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone knows the frustration of looking for the perfect venue - starting with a search for venues with your chosen style that fits your wedding guests and looks amazing. You see the pictures online and they look great, the prices don't look bad too and then you check the place out and realise there are so many additional prices to get to the same standard as the amazing photos they use online. Suddenly that manageable, reasonably priced day seems impossible - so impossible that you almost lose hope. Thankfully just before we did we found Skylark. I couldn't believe it when we went to check the place out, with beautiful views and exclusive use of the place I knew the venue was everything we had been looking for. We sat down with Sam and she ran through what was included. There was absolutely NO hidden extras that had to be paid for - dance floor, table cloths, cutlery, ceiling drapes and lights all included amongst other things (these are some things I noticed other venues charged for). I was so relieved I cried! We were planning through Boris Johnsons indecisive phase and so we were never sure how many guests we could have or what restrictions would be in place but throughout Sam was flexible, amazing, and ready with suggestions and ideas to follow the guidelines in a fun way that would make the day feel more natural. Fast forward to the day and it was amazing, everyone loved the views and the feel of the venue. Countless guests commented on how lovely the staff were and it was so true! Not only were they ready to help whenever anyone needed anything but it was clear that they were enjoying themselves throughout the night. Skylark Weddings - The Personal Touch Skylark Weddings - The Personal Touch
Happily married on the 22nd February 2020, we could not have picked a better venue with more caring hosts than Skylark Farm. Set in the picturesque Northamptonshire countryside, Staverton and Skylark Farm was not a place we had ever ventured before but it was well signposted and easy to find. Arriving at Skylark Farm the first thing you will notice are the many chickens milling around amongst the Christmas tree woodland, giving an almost storybook feeling. As you make your way up the access road it opens up to reveal ample parking space and the family’s farmhouse. Immediately behind this are the café and barn areas, which have a modern and tidy appearance leading on to a beautiful countryside backdrop featuring rolling green hills and natural woodlands, ideal for creating those wedding album memories. Our first meeting was with Sam, who clearly had a lot of experience in wedding planning. She guided us through all of the package options available, providing plenty of opportunity to ask questions however silly we thought they were! We didn’t feel pressured into making any decision there and then but we knew at that point we could see our wedding at Skylark Farm. Out of all the websites we looked at and places we viewed, Skylark Farm had the most reasonable prices for what was on offer. Although the package we eventually chose catered for fewer guests than we required, we were easily able to add on more guests at a reasonable amount per head without changing the package. This proved very cost effective, especially closer to the date as some guests could no longer make it. Sam was very accommodating in allowing us to remove some guests from the numbers without incurring the additional cost. We left after the first meeting knowing a date for our wedding and informed of everything we needed to do to get to that point. As we had booked the wedding with 18 months notice there wasn’t much to do straight away but this allowed us to get on with other wedding issues like the guest list, colour themes and most importantly… the dress! As crucial dates in the wedding planning drew closer Sam kept us well informed and ensured we were able to book ourselves on to one of the food tasting days. The tasting event was held in the main barn where the reception would be, and interestingly was a joint event with other couples, giving it the feel of how a wedding reception might be. I think this allowed us to get an honest representation of how the food would be when served to a large crowd and see how capable and well organised the catering team were. The food was presented to the table still hot, in enough of a portion size to fully appreciate it, looking incredible and tasting amazing! We then had a long discussion in the car on the way home and for many days after, unable to pick between the array of fantastic courses. For us, choosing a menu could have been difficult due to the amount of people attending who had serious food allergies; however right from the beginning Sam had been aware of the need to factor this in. She made sure that all allergies and intolerances were documented and even allowed be-spoke changes for individual’s menu choices where it was not possible to alter the dish’s ingredients. We eventually settled on (and would highly recommend) the twice-cooked collar of pork for the main with chickpea curry and poppadum as a vegetarian option; and for dessert, chocolate brownie and the lemon cheesecake. Throughout the whole planning experience the only downside were the guests’ experiences with the local hotel. Even though the wedding package included a discounted rate for our guests with the local De Vere Staverton Hotel. Guests found that if they booked directly with hotel and joined the hotel’s free loyalty club they could book other rooms for a lower price. As they hadn’t used our wedding booking code it made it difficult to keep track of who had booked the hotel and subsequently made it tricky to judge transport arrangements. Apart from this the De Vere Hotel linked to the wedding package was clean, pleasant to stay in and very accommodating for large groups of people. In the last few months leading up to the main event we met again with Sam to go through some the finer details and logistics of the day. Sam again showed her experience in planning these events and was efficient in extracting from us all the finer details that would ensure the day would run like clockwork and without us needing to be involved. The day before the wedding we were allowed plenty of time to go into the barn to set up the decorations and the ceremony room. Sam and her team had already organised the tables in the layout we had requested and were on hand to offer help with anything we needed to set up. Knowing that the room was set up well in advance and how we had imagined it allowed us a stress free evening before the wedding with time to enjoy the hotel amenities and great our guests as they arrived. The day itself came and Sam and her team’s amazing efforts on the day didn’t go unnoticed. They greeted us both as we arrived and guided us each seamlessly through to the whole day. They were well organised and presented, very friendly and accommodating with guests and a pleasure to share our experience with. They even went out of their way to ensure that we both had chance to have a moment to ourselves, with hors d'oeuvres and welcome drinks specially saved for us. The wedding breakfast food replicated the culinary delights and the level of organisation we had experienced in the tasting session. The kitchen staff were quick and efficient at bringing the food to the table and very careful to deliver the specially prepared plates of food to those guests who had serious food allergies. The food was delicious, hot and filling; and indeed this reflected in the opinions of all our guests. The excellent DJ skills of Dave (Sam’s husband), the gin-fuelled dancing and the brilliant pizza oven experience completed what was a perfect evening. Many of the guests went out their way to mention how brilliant they thought the venue had been and how the atmosphere at the wedding was really relaxed and happy, and how the food had been incredible. Had a fantastic wedding day at Skylark, and are so grateful to Sam, Dave, Jake and team for giving us our perfect day. We chose the all-inclusive package which made everything so easy as what we needed was included in the price, and we also went with their preferred suppliers, which again added to the ease of the planning. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they helped us with the planning every step of the way. The day itself couldn't have gone better and all our guests commented on what a great place it was. The venue itself looked gorgeous with all the twinkly lights and the view from the patio. The food was fantastic, and catered for many dietary requirements, and the bar was very well stocked. I thoroughly recommend Skylark to anyone looking for the perfect rustic venue! The most wonderful day The most wonderful day
2020 the year we were getting married.. the 7th of april was our original date but then covid-19 happened and all went wrong and we had to sadly postpone.. sam was amazing and quick with responding to us with available dates the end of the year.. we went with the 26th of october.. our numbers were reduced from 80 to 30 and we found this very difficult having to tell family and friends but they were all very understandable.. then another announcement came in and we were now only allowed 15.. Sam called us in to discuss on where we go from there.. we decided to go ahead with the 15 so we could complete our family name.. and sam put plans into place for our evening do for 2021.. we honestly feel she did everything to make things run smoothly and no added stress to what we were facing.. we got out wedding day and it was the most amazing day of our lives.. and even though it was reduced numbers it was intimate. Absolutely Amazing!! Absolutely Amazing!!
Right from the first email we sent we knew we would get married at Skylark. Sam and Dave were just amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fab, the views were spectacular and the rest of the staff were brilliant. We planned the wedding 6 weeks before and they all made it so easy for us. We had the most perfect day , and the whole experience from the first meeting to view the venue all the way up to the wedding day was a personal and perfect journey. Our Perfect DayOur Perfect Day
rom the moment we met Sam and her team we knew, without a doubt, that our wedding would be everything we wanted. Sam took time to get to know us so that she could provide us with the day we wanted and not a set wedding from a set venue. We are still reeling from just how amazing the day was, Sam managed to create a really smoothly run event, so relaxed and charming that just remembering it makes us smile out loud! The food was delicious, the drinks flowed and the whole venue was set out exactly as we had pictured it. The ceremony itself felt so personal and the room was wonderfully laid out. The garden looked beautiful - Sam put out bales, fire pits, blankets and cushions. We had the best fireworks and the most delicious wedding cake. All of our guests loved the hog roast and the cheese was delicious. In short, nothing was too much trouble and it was the perfect day, we will not just remember it, but cherish it forever. We were not sure what we wanted at first, but Sam listened carefully and tailor made our day. I know we are biased but we got exactly what we wanted... When my partner and I began the search for our wedding venue, we were worried. The wedding industry seemed full of venues that charge vastly inflated prices for dull rooms and average food. Luckily, we found Skylark! Skylark is a beautiful setting for a wedding, with rolling countryside on all sides and fantastic views. The barn (used for receptions) and ceremony room are simple, but really adaptable, allowing your taste as a couple to shine through. The ceremony room is full of light because of the full-length windows along one side, and was a beautiful setting for the start of our day. The barn is different - a big space, that somehow manages to be intimate - but in a good way, providing a cosy atmosphere for a reception. Although we didn't have the weather for it (Snow! In March?!) there is also outdoor space available if required. The setting was enough to turn our heads, but it was Sam, Dave and the rest of the Skylark family that really sold this venue to us. Sam's dedication and attention to detail meant that every moment of our wedding was planned to perfection. She was flexible, cooperative and open to our ideas, knowing when to offer advice and when to leave us to make our own decisions. Her willingness to meet with us on a number of occasions in the 18 months before our big day meant we never had to worry about any of it! Finally, a review of Skylark wouldn't be honest and true without a mention of the incredible food.
