The Woodlands is a unique, exclusive use venue boasting a picturesque countryside setting, an enchanted outdoor ceremony area, and both indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to make the most of the scenery, whatever the weather.
We are able to accommodate a maximum of 120 people for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, increasing up to 180 people for your evening reception. From gourmet dining to relaxed buffets, our extensive food and drink options mean you’re sure to find something that suits your style. Whatever you choose, it’s guaranteed to leave an impression
Manicured lawns and wild flowerbeds surround The Woodlands – an ideal location for fun and games, as well as fantastic photo
opportunities. Enjoy drinks and lawn games before gathering everyone together to toast marshmallows around the firepit as the sun starts to set
Continue the celebrations with your family and friends as night time falls upon the Woodlands. Welcome your evening guests with a hand crafted cocktail and party the night away to your choice of entertainment. Don't worry - there are 22 Woodland lodge bedrooms for your guests to stay overnight and join together for breakfast the following morning. For yourselves? Sleep amongst the trees in our Treehouse Suite.

Our wedding coordinator Alice was amazing from start to finish, Alice was always on hand to answer any question from start to finish and helped me so much on the actually wedding day. Nothing was ever too big or too small and we had a picture perfect wedding, one we will forever wish to relive! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking that a gorgeous outdoor wedding with incredible food, surroundings and service from all the staff at The Woodlands. Our honeymoon suite was the famous treehouse, this had everything you need and was a lovely extra addition to this already insanely beautiful place. The woodlands have gorgeous lodges on site that all the guests complement and explained how good it was to have everything in one place, I could spend all day talking about this venue but it would not be enough. Myself and my partner had the pleasure of getting married at this incredible venue. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any query, our wedding co-ordinator Aimee supported us through the whole process and made sure the day ran smoothly and the suppliers suggested were perfect and so good at what they do. The food was the best food at a wedding I and our guests have ever had, they are still talking about it nearly two weeks later! They recommended amazing suppliers for the day which all had only great things to say about the woodlands, the tree house was beautiful only wish we had longer! Absolutely immaculate, clean, tidy, nothing out of place or damaged. The area felt very safe which meant the children could happily run around and play freely. The wooden lodges were also stunning, perfectly clean, spacious and lots of amenities, with breakfast the following day again perfect. Literally nothing I could complain about.We've just come back from a wedding at the woodlands. This venue is perfect, definitely worth the travelling. We loved the fact that everything was so close by, from the reception and wedding breakfast area, to the cozy lodges just across the grass area. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It's so hard to pick just one! Honestly, every wedding that takes place at The Woodlands holds such a special place in our hearts. We go on such a journey with couples, so its amazing when you see it all come together on the day as they'd imagined. No two weddings are the same, which is why we love each and every wedding so much individually.
Having said that, we do love seeing new ideas and inspirations coming through the door. Some personal favourites this year have been audio guestbooks, floral installations from the ceiling in our Dining Room, a light archway to enter the Tipi, and of course four-legged friend in adorable outfits!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Our number 1 planning tip would be to try not to get overwhelmed by the planning process. Break down your big wedding planning project into manageable bitesize chunks, and book in a meeting with your wedding co-ordinator to go through any questions you may have - that's what we're here for after all!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The best personal touch we've ever seen at a wedding was Sarah and Gareth's music video. Rather than having a wedding video, the couple arranged for a company to come and create a music video of their wedding day to the song 'One that I want' from Grease.
Sarah and Gareth met doing theatre productions together, and a lot of their guests were also friends from theatre, so they knew that everyone would be up for getting involved! The end result was brilliant, and looked like so much fun, and the personal level behind it is so special!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Everyone in the Weddings Team has a different answer to this one as there are soo many beautiful photo spots. But we all agree that the bandstand looks stunning in the day, surrounded by the trees, and even more magical in the evening when it's lit up in the dark.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
The Woodlands was actually chosen to feature in the Real Full Monty in 2021! Chris Hughes, Jamie Lomas, Shaughna Phillips, Coleen Nolan and many more all stayed at The Woodlands for a couple of days to film and raise awareness for breast and prostate cancer.
What’s your favourite canapé?
100% the BBQ pork belly skewers!! These are a firm favourite at weddings (and in the office too!), and even better, they can also be made to be GF and DF!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
This would definitely be our S'more station! Imagine ending your wedding day in the Tipi, toasting marshmallows around the firepit with all of your guests. Sounds like the best idea of a midnight treat!!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Couples are always blown away by our Newlywed treehouse suite. A luxury room fitted with a log burner, roll top bath, wine fridge and a balcony to overlook the surrounding countryside is such a treat, and very much needed after a night of dancing! Not many people can say they slept amongst the treetops on the night of their wedding, it is a truly unique feature and amazing experience.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the bond that we have as wider Team. Whether you work in the housekeeping team, maintenance, weddings, operations or kitchen, we all come together to pull off every wedding to make the couples dream a reality.
Our bond between departments shines through our service, making the entire experience a happy and relaxed one for couples, throughout the planning process, and then on their wedding day too.
