When you choose Prestwold Hall as the venue for your wedding, our passionate and experienced team will work with you to create a totally bespoke day to suit you; everything is tailored to make your dream day a reality. We have three elegant locations to say your ‘I do’s’; there’s the library – a sophisticated space which really captures the grandeur of this historic Leicestershire wedding venue, outside in our beautiful, formal gardens or in the idyllic, medieval St. Andrew’s Church, located just 100 yards from our front door. Prestwold Hall’s grand architecture, exquisite antique furniture and walls lined with period paintings, along with its romantic rose garden and manicured grounds provides a distinctive and unforgettable backdrop to your wedding day. Our Head Chef will work with you to design the wedding menu of your dreams, with a focus on using the very best ingredients and making the most of seasonal produce. Spend the evening dancing the night away in the house, before making use of one of the 10 beautiful bedrooms on-site.

On the day, the staff were incredible. We had the lovely Lucy take care of us most of the day. They go above and beyond sorting out on the day so that we did not need to worry about a thing for example setting up vendors in the venue and making sure people with allergies got the right food. Each room of the venue is unique and beautiful and the food is incredible. I had several guests tell me it was the best food they had eaten at a wedding. I got to enjoy every second of my wedding with no worries, it was the perfect day and we are so happy we chose Prestwold as our venue. We had the most magical day at Prestwold Hall. They are great in the run up to the wedding helping get on top of everything. On the day, the staff were incredible. We had the lovely Lucy take care of us most of the day. From the moment we looked around the venue we felt that we were in excellent hands. Lucy, our venue coordinator made us feel so confident and that we were in excellent, experienced hands. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure our special day moved smoothly and seamlessly, if there were any problems then we didn’t know about them! Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too and that’s down to the beautiful house and grounds but also the most amazing staff. The food was also absolutely incredible. Just book it, you won’t be disappointed! We cant recommend Prestwold Hall enough if you are looking for a wedding venue. So many of our guests (including guests from Australia) commented on how seamless our day was and how professional the Prestwold team were. Many were curious on how we found the venue and we feel so privileged to have had your team on board on the best day of our lives yet. The venue is spectacular with beautiful interiors including an old library, dining room and the gardens. In Spring and Summer, in particular, the gardens look absolutely stunning. The bedrooms were spacious and in a clean and tidy condition with an element of luxury to every room. From the outset, you were accommodating for all of our preferences and worked with us in respect of suppliers, food/drink choices and on the day set up. Nothing was too much trouble with our wedding coordinator, Aimee, being always willing to try and accommodate additional requests outside of their already comprehensive options and choices. For example, we chose to offer a DIY sweet stand and Prestwold set this up for us on the day, placing it in an ideal location at the venue. On the day, Aimee was exceptional at coordinating all of the styling and ensuring the day ran smoothly. We didn’t have to think about a thing and were able to be fully present on the day - that is a gift we can never repay you for! The food was exquisite with nearly all of our guests commenting on it. Moreover, Prestwold thought of everything down to providing a bottle of champagne for the end of the night, which we enjoyed whilst reading our guestbook. If you are looking for a high quality venue and wedding planning team, look no further as Prestwold are a safe pair of hands and create dream weddings. An idea that we always love, is when our couples share and frame their most cherished family photos. This adds a lovely personal touch and truly makes the venue feel like yours.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The most popular photo spots at our venue would have to be the orangery and our formal gardens. Beautiful in all seasons, whether is in the summer sun or the crisp winter frost.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Most definitely, as Prestwold Hall is only available for exclusive hire, your seclusion and privacy is guaranteed.
What’s your favourite canapé?
A question too difficult to answer, one of our most popular would have to be the Duck pastrami & plum ‘open sandwich’ from our Contemporary canape menu. Each of our couples get to experience our Head Chef's culinary expertise on our tasting events. Marc will carefully create a tasting menu which makes those all important decisions about your wedding breakfast and the best wine pairings a little more easier.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
One of our sumptuous after hours menu's paired with some more celebratory fizz - or another cocktail!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The most unique feature at Prestwold Hall is the hand painted marble found in our front hall, inner hall and passage. Buckingham Palace had the same renowned plaster work but was covered over in earlier years, now our venue is one of the largest example of its kind found in the UK.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Without a doubt we would have to say our team! When looking for your dream venue, the people who are going to be part of your wedding planning journey are just as important as the venue itself. Are they welcoming and friendly? Are they willing to help answer all your questions, big and small? And are they willing to make your craziest ideas a reality? Our team are.
