- CCharlotte & Richard30/03/2024Nothing was too much! Nothing was too much!This venue is such a rare little gem!!!! As soon as we found this venue we knew instantly it was for us. It has a super relaxed cosy vibe that’s just perfect. Though I think there are in total 3 wedding coordinators at the venue, the main person we dealt with was a lady called Sian, from the moment we met her we loved her chilled out attitude but that absolutely didn’t mean she didn’t know what she was doing, she always put us at ease when it got stressful and couldn’t do enough for us, we couldn’t of had our day go as perfect without out her! A true life saver! This venue is such a rare little gem!!!! As soon as we found this venue we knew instantly it was for us. It has a super relaxed cosy vibe that’s just perfect. We didn’t realize it at the time, though, which is testament to the calm professionalism of Craig and his team. The staff made it possible for us to have that perfect blend of organizing things exactly how we wanted – for instance, getting early access to the marquee to decorate it with whatever we liked – alongside their provision of all the essentials that you’d expect. Everything – from the very delicious catering (we were able to sample all the potential dishes well in advance and had a served Ottolenghi-style buffet) and bar to music, lighting, and furniture – was excellent. And, of course, the steam train regularly rolls past, adding to the romantic atmosphere (we arrived from Loughborough Registry Office to Quorn Station on a steam train, with a three-piece jazz band waiting who then followed us across the road to the pub). Finally, the MH had recently opened its B&B rooms (and now there are more), so lots of our guests stayed there – and loved it.
