From North London:

By Underground:
Travel by Piccadilly Line to Cockfosters Underground station. There is a taxi office in the station open until the last train of the evening. Do not try to walk to the hotel from the tube as the road is rather busy.
Cockfosters Tube is just a mile away along the same road as the hotel.
It has unlimited car parking, which costs £5.30 per day midweek, £2 per day Saturdays, and £1.50 per day Sundays and bank holidays. Download parking information.
From there you can purchase a Travelcard from £12.10 ( all prices current February 2016) which gives you unlimited tube and bus trips across London all day. A bargain compared to national rail fares.
If you don't have a car, the tube station is a £5 cab fare from the hotel, and on your return the cab office is inside the station and open until the last train back from central London.
The Piccadilly Line is really the best line for seeing all the sights of London, as it goes via Kings Cross St Pancras, then Holborn for the British Museum, Covent Garden, Leicester Square for all the cinemas and theatres, as well as National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, then Piccadilly Circus for Regent St and Fortnum and Mason, then Green Park for Buckingham Palace, then Hyde Park Corner, then Knightsbridge for Harrods and Harvey Nicholls, and then South Kensington for the Natural History, Science, and V&A museums.
And from Cockfosters you always, always get a seat as it is the beginning of the line !
