Weddings In The Wood

It is a "blank canvas" ready for you to personalise in any way you wish - from adding simple decorations to making elaborate arrangements. With this in mind we can provide options to have early access, the day or evening before to set up and an option to stay overnight till 12 noon the day after your wedding to clear your decorations. Fabulously private and secluded, you will enjoy exclusive use of the venue and we will do everything we can to make sure your special day goes without a hitch and is memorable for all the right reasons! We have a license to hold wedding ceremonies and civil partnership services in our Carpenter's Barn or outdoors amongst the trees. The barn itself can accommodate around 100 guests for a sit down meal. Our semi-permanent marquee on the woodland deck extends the covered space, seating a further 125 guests. Additional marquees can be put up on the lawn if required. After the wedding feast, the tables and chairs can be cleared to create a dance floor in the barn, were we allow you to arrange your own band or DJ. We have a licensed bar, a large fire circle. There are lawns for entertainment and a meandering trail through the ancient woodland. The newly weds can spend the night in our Honeymoon Shepherd’s Hut and we also have 9 shepherd huts accommodating a further 36 guests and camping on our South lawn, for those guests wishing to stay into the early hours.
