Ware Priory is a premier wedding venue in the heart of Hertfordshire (pun intended); we ensure your special day is memorable for both you and your guests. This Grade 1 listed venue is where the past and present unite; founded in 1338 with medieval architecture whilst offering a contemporary and spacious venue to suit our couples.
Our 7 spacious acres include picturesque riverside gardens; the perfect backdrop for your wedding. We also offer a wide range of flexible catering options, to suit your individual needs.
Your wedding is one of the most treasured days of your life and our experienced team will help you plan your day so that everything flows seamlessly (like your attire!).

We are very proud of the personal service that we are able to offer each of our couples thereby providing a unique and individual wedding for each. From the first visit of viewing the venue right up until our big day (roughly 18 months) the members of staff we met were so helpful, happy to answer any question/worries we had, the communication was excellent and they were pretty quick at getting back to us. Kat made sure our day went smoothly, and ensured everything happened when/as it it should. Highly recommend for a beautiful venue, stunning grounds, and very fairly priced.Myself and my now husband got married at Ware Priory in August 2021. The food was great, the service was amazing, the security were friendly, the bar was so quick and Kat was just brilliant with everything and everyone had nothing but compliments! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The best wedding was one that had to be rebooked 4 times due to Covid but at last went ahead in May. Our lovely couple had the best day and we have since met their lovely new addition to the family.
