Me and my husband got married 12/04/24. Everything went amazing and the staff we can't thank enough. Special mentions to Lois, Ollie and Callum and the girls on the front desk. Lois was a superstar coordinating our wedding, nothing was too much, amazing communication, was just as excited for our wedding as us and overall just amazing. We were treated with so much respect, everyone was friendly, Callum was amazing the night before the wedding while I was doing last minute sorting of the name cards, brought me some string I had forgotten and was amazing at keeping me calm as I did it. Will be sending a big email to the hotel manager later to go into detail about how amazing everything went. Honestly anyone looking for a venue this place hands down was amazing. I was amazed at how well the food came out! The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. There was chilled ice water on the tables and you could ask for refills. Otherwise it was but your drinks from the bar, I think priced the same as other places around.We went to the Village hotel, this is just down the road from Hilsea Lido. Everything was on time and went as planned, not one single fault in the whole day. I couldn’t fault a single thing throughout the day, they were all fantastic. The reception staff were all brilliant too and so helpful throughout the whole weekend. Loads of people commented about how great the food was too. I honestly can't thank you enough! Thanks so much Natalie, you’ve been so helpful throughout the whole process! I'm just so sad it’s all over and wish we could do it all again!! What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always get your DJ or Band to announce the last song! You want everyone on the dance floor enjoying the last moments of a special day
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
During the Wedding Breakfast, a couple had an empty seat for them to sit down and chat to their guests. Instead of leaning over, they were able to go round and talk to all their guests. The day can pass so fast so having time to speak to all the guests was a wonderful personal touch!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Behind the Hotel we have a beautiful lake, perfect for your couple shots! Once your ceremony is over, grab your photographer and make the most of the luscious greenery over by the lake. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake but it is totally worth it! Top tip for Brides - bring some flats to change into in between photos.

We are a Village within a Village! We have everything you need under one roof for you and your guests. Want to have a family breakfast the day after your wedding? We can do that! The Groomsmen to have a steam and Sauna before the I DO's? We can arrange that! Your Nan want's to arrive 2 hours early and enjoy a coffee? We have a Starbucks inside the hotel

Our Operations Team - they are fantastic and ensure you have the wedding of your dreams! Nothing is too much hassle for them and they truly want to see you have the best day.
