Weddings A day, a weekend, a memory that will last a lifetime. With three acres of gardens hidden in the UNESCO national park, design your day to be a wonderfully relaxed celebration, bespoke to you. Your ceremony can take place inside the Lodge or outside in the gardens. We offer 12 delightful bedrooms and 4 luxury private mews. Priding ourselves in creating bespoke menus designed by you, a bursting bar for drinks and canapes in the garden, and a dance-floor to bust that groove. We can even provide a photographic backdrop to wow every guest of the wedding party. Our role is dedicated in supporting you and will host your day that is truly unique to you. COME. SAY I DO. You have the option for your wedding breakfast to be an outdoor summer banquet, candle-lit celebration, a relaxed buffet or something completely different. My daughter and her husband got married here on 24th May, and everything was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The decor of the hotel is so lovely and the way in which the room was transformed from a formal venue for the ceremony into a beautiful, elegant dining space and later into a bar for the evening was just magical. The gardens were a beautiful setting for photographs. The hotel offered a perfect blend of formality and informality which is so important. A big thank you to all the staff at dale lodge hotel and tweedies bar for making out silver wedding anniversary a really special occasion. The rooms where great the food lovely and the staff where very helpful with the arrangements I had planned. Perfection Perfection
The whole weekend was perfect, just what we wanted. The staff were so helpful, especially Alyson, the wedding planner and the food was delicious! Our guests all arrived on the Friday night, most travelling from down south and all commented on how well they were looked after by the staff. The wedding took place on the Saturday and couldn't have gone better. The whole day felt very relaxed and flowed perfectly. Our weekend went totally according to plan, the ceremony was just what we wanted!The whole weekend was perfect, just what we wanted. I simply cannot praise and thank the staff enough for making it the most magical, memorable and beautiful wedding despite the pouring rain. Alyson, the co-ordinator, was on hand within minutes for anything. She made the whole day run smoothly and transformed the already amazing hotel in a stunning wedding venue. Nothing was too much for her and she made the day stress free for my husband and I. The rooms are lovely and the bridal suite was fantastically spacious I simply cannot praise and thank the staff enough for making it the most magical, memorable and beautiful wedding despite the pouring rain. From the second we arrived and greeted by Craig till the moment we left we had a most amazing time. We arrived for our friends weddings. The wedding was so well coordinated. The food was 5 star. The staff all of them were fantastic. The registrar gave such a wonderful service. The bride herself was treated like royalty. The room was changed 4 times. The wedding ceremony. The meal. The disco and breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a wedding. Could not find one fault. A hotel with a view surrounded by hills and mountains. Set in picture perfect village with great staff excellent food. Special thanks to Craig and the owners for arranging everything . The hotel has a beautiful style and a real home from home feel. The food is a real highlight. The chefs are innovative and produce exciting, seasonal, well cooked food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The mews rooms are great for those with a family and easily accommodate a family of 4 (as we some friends stayed there for the wedding). The children and our dog were all very welcome.The hotel has a beautiful style and a real home from home feel. The food is a real highlight. Superb Superb
Lovely room in the Mews. Friendly, attentive and very hard-working staff. Superb food - could not fault. Whilst in middle of village, quiet location. Pleasant grounds. Tweedies bar had live music on the Friday evening which offered a great atmosphere to our evening meal, without being too loud and intrusive.Lovely room in the Mews. Great stay Great stay
Another great stay at the Dale Lodge to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff excellent as usual. My wife who is not a great fish lover had the fish and chips at Tweedies. Great hotel, staff very helpful, showed us to the room, room was very clean, good quality furnishings, tv, and tea coffee etc. Full English in the morning lovely.
