Holesfoot is an exclusive wedding venue located in Cumbria's famed Eden Valley. The secluded spot offers couples an idyllic setting for their milestone celebrations. Whether you're envisioning a romantic outdoor ceremony, a tasty paella for your reception, or anything in between, this venue has got you covered. Facilities and Capacity Couples dreaming of a picturesque, nature-filled event setting in the English countryside will fall in love with Holesfoot. The property consists of various indoor and outdoor spaces where heartfelt celebrations can be hosted. The Old Barn Main Hall is perfect for festivities up to 150 people, and its adjacent bar increases its capacity to 200 guests in the evening. Similarly, the Italian Garden Terrace offers space for 150 loved ones to share your big day with you in the open air. Couples who would prefer a wedding that's entirely outdoors whatever the weather can opt for the walled garden canopy. Thanks to the property's 20 acres of gardens, wooded areas, brooks, and fields, you'll have ample backdrops to choose from for your wedding photos. When booking the venue, you will have exclusive use of the facilities on the day of your wedding, ensuring a tranquil, secluded ambience. Services Offered To streamline planning experiences, Holesfoot offers two or three-night packages for couples to choose from with accomodation for up to 60 of their nearest & dearest. The main barn is equipped with underfloor heating, allowing celebrations to take place there year-round. Essentials for all aspects of your event, such as lighting, WiFi, and glassware will be provided. After your special occasion draws to a close, you and your loved ones can make the most of the blissful retreat by staying overnight in the Luxury Manor House, which can sleep up to 22 guests. Additional on-site accommodations such as The Bakehouse, The Cottage, The Coach House, and the 5 glamping tents are also available.

From the beautiful grounds to the outstanding accommodation, we couldn't have found a better place to get married! Liv was exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her! It was the most perfect wedding and we feel so incredibly grateful that Holesfoot was our venue!We were looking for a venue where we could hold a small, intimate wedding and Holesfoot ticked all the boxes. From the beautiful grounds to the outstanding accommodation, we couldn't have found a better place to get married! Liv was exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her! It was the most perfect wedding and we feel so incredibly grateful that Holesfoot was our venue!

We went to see quite a lot of venues and nowhere else even came close for us. It has the perfect mix of feeling relaxed and unpretentious but also elegant and incredibly special all at the same time. Liv and her team were absolutely incredible, we always had quick responses to all our questions and they went above and beyond to help us achieve all that we wanted on the day. Liv makes it feel like Holesfoot is a home away from home and was always on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly, she’s just fantastic! Another real highlight for us was to be able to have use of the venue over a few days, a lot of our guests were travelling quite far and being able host welcome drinks the night before meant we got a chance to see and speak to everyone properly (and have a soak in the hot tub!). We genuinely did not want to leave after our wedding and are already making plans to come back and stay in the gorgeous accommodation as a holiday- we want to try the glamping tents at some point too as our guests loved them! Holesfoot is honestly the most magical venue which exceeded all our expectations, we could go on and on about how special it is so our advice is go and see for yourselves. Just held my daughter's wedding here and friends and family occupied the house and ancillary accommodation for several days. It is quite superb in every way and the owner was always on hand if required. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this venue to anyone who is planning a special event as it far exceeded my already high expectations.This is a special place. Holesfoot has so many amazing spaces within the grounds and buildings, and we really made the most of this by using as many of them as possible over the weekend.
