Larger gatherings find a splendid setting in the meticulously restored barn, ideal for festival-style weddings with the inclusion of teepees and sailcloth tents.

Packages include 2 days of exclusive use venue hire and accommodation (which can be paid for by your guests or yourselves) as well as a host of other elements designed to give you a private and bespoke wedding with time to actually spend enjoying the moment. We have packages for smaller weddings within our House (up to 42 guests) and our newly renovated barn for up to110 seated guests and evening 150 guests. You can even choose to hold a Festival wedding for up to 200 guests with the addition of tipis and bell tents.
If you are following a satnav, it is best to continue all the way along Easedale Road until you reach our main gates next to the river and continue up our scenic drive all the way to the house.
Enjoy a glass of fizz 🥂 and a selection of delicious canapés as you discover our historic house, beautiful barn and gorgeous grounds on the edge of Grasmere in the heart of the Lake District.
