Top hospitality and friendly staff, will visit again for sure. Warm and welcoming both the facility and staff. Location is excellent with stunning views. Grasmere village is a short walk and the surrounding Craggs and Lakes are also a short walk. The scenery is just out of this world.

We’ve just returned from a very enjoyable stay at The Lancrigg. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very much at home. As the weekend was for a large group and a surprise special occasion, a lot of planning was required ahead of our visit. Nothing was too much trouble for Katrina and she was always available to help in any way she could. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. A brilliant weekend in a beautiful setting. Thank you.

Real gem of a hotel, lovely friendly staff, fabulous view over the fells from bedroom and really good food. Everywhere clean and choice of lounge or bar downstairs. About 15 mins walk into Grasmere centre, great starting point for Easedale Tarn which is about 4.5 mile round trip. Will definitely look to stay again.

Just spent a fantastic weekend as a group of 14, (family and friends) for our Ruby wedding anniversary at the Lancrigg, a real home from home. Large lounge with open coal fire great for anyone to have a relaxing break with a brew or a beer. Katrina was brilliant, so friendly and helpful, always around if anything needed. Hotel is in an amazing setting, an easy 10 -15 minutes walk from the village.

Our eldest daughter got married on 29th June at the Lancrigg Hotel. It was a wonderful day, and huge thanks to Serene and the staff who couldn't have made us more welcome or been more friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the breakfasts and BBQ delicious. It was a wonderful few days in a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, idyllic! We would highly recommend it and would like to return one day.

Wow wow wow! I am truly lost for words at how to describe how incredible Lancrigg is and was for our wedding. The location is absolutely stunning and whilst it’s in the heart of the Lake District you truely feel such a sense on seclusion and privacy for your wedding day. The venue is incredible from all the rooms, to the barn, the house, the gardens etc. I couldn’t fault a single aspect of it. The team at Lancrigg are also incredible, our wedding day went absolutely seamlessly and they truely cared about every small detail to make it perfect. They also catered so well for our young nephews and our dog who was a integral part of our wedding too. No request or question was too big a ask! We live 3.5 hours away but the distance from the location didn’t make it any harder to plan the wedding as the team & especially Katrina - our wedding coordinator made it so easy to plan and organise everything. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect wedding day & so much of that is down to Lancrigg and the team there making it so special. It will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will certainly be back there again and again as it truely feels part of our family and life! Thank you Lancrigg!!! Daisy & Connor xxx

The Lancrigg is the perfect Lake District venue, combining the comfort of the charming house and recently renovated barn, with stunning views of the Fells. The whole team are fantastic, from the grounds staff to the owners, who work together to make sure the venue is looking it's best and everything runs smoothly. A special shout out to Katrina, who is so calm and calming, and did so much to look after us and our guests for the whole weekend. Having sole use of the Lancrigg for two nights is also a wonderful advantage of this venue, and we were able to have just over half of our guests staying with us to extend the celebrations.

An utterly perfect venue for our wedding. We married under the beech tree with the fells in the background, played lawn games in the garden, dined and partied in the beautiful slate barn, and slept peacefully in the bridal suite. It has exactly the right mix of history, setting, and a laid-back home-from-home feel that we wanted. There are a lot of Lake District hotels churning out formulaic weddings but the Lancrigg brings something different. It's a venue that allows your wedding to be unique and personal. Additionally, you're made to feel like it's your home for the weekend, and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff and owners. An incredibly special place.

We had the absolute pleasure of attending a winter wedding at The Lancrigg, and we cannot recommend this venue enough! The setting is simply stunning, the staff were exceptionally attentive and professional, and the food was nothing short of delicious. This is truly a first-class venue for a Lake District wedding.
