Roderick who helped host the event was very organised and on hand to help with anything. The grounds were beautiful with lush lawns and roaming peacocks. The marquee was stylishly decorated and staff were amazing at keeping guests fed and watered. Well done to all involved. The venue has so many lovely aspects with several options for where to hold your ceremony. I can’t fault Rhoderick one bit. He went above and beyond to do whatever he could to help make our day just the way we wanted it. We got married during the pandemic so we returned at a later date to have the reception and Rhoderick was so accommodating and did everything he could to make our day extra special. The fact the grounds have peacocks strolling around was a highlight for me, and the gorgeous cathedral tree was a perfect area for stunning photos. There are so many amazing spots for pictures and we were lucky to get the stunning outdoor wedding I had always imagined. I hope this helps others make their decision to choose this venue in the future! I would definitely recommend Tullibole Castle to anybody looking for a rustic themed wedding. From getting shown round with Rhoderick to sitting down and have a tea with his wife and him and discussing our day we knew we had to book here. The relaxed vibe, the location is outstanding and the hosts are something you wont get anywhere else. Lord and Lady moncrief are just absolutely delightful and made sure every single thing went to plan on the day. On the run up to our day we visited a few times on open days with family and had such an amazing time doing so, it gave us time to plan what we were doing where. The incredible thing about this venue is it is yours for the ENTIRE weekend. I am actually a wedding photographer and most venues dont let you stay the next day unless you pay more. It was truly amazing to spend an extra night after with my husband and to just do a wee walk around and live in a happy bubble. On the day before the wedding rhoderick ran around like a maniac doing anything he could to make the place look AMAZING. He checked in on us and on both mornings he made us all breakfast (which was delightful) lastly our day could not have been more perfect and smooth and the nicest part about it was having rhoderick beaming back at the guests and ourselves through the entire day. We couldn't have had a better day anywhere else and we are hoping to come stay at the long house again soon! If you are considering booking and you want to have the most relaxed, enchanting and truly amazing day then book here. There are so many options available and Lord & Lady Moncreif are so laid back and make you feel so welcome and comfortable.
