Torr Vale Mill offers a variety of indoor and outdoor event spaces to accommodate weddings of up to 50-300 guests. The light and airy interior of the lovingly restored Cotton Mill offers couples a blank canvas to transform according to their unique style and taste. It is licensed for civil ceremonies and has a seating capacity from 50-300 guests. Featuring barrel-vaulted ceilings, exposed stone, and cast-iron columns, this industrial-chic setting is perfect for dining and socialising throughout the evening. Guests can look forward to getting the party started on the spacious dance floor and enjoying themselves under ambient lighting.
For couples seeking to make the most of the great outdoors, the venue boasts two rustic terraces. The festoon-lit Weaving Shed offers scenic views of the iconic Millennium walkway and is suitable for outdoor drinks receptions. Alternatively, the South Terrace provides a tranquil area to relax and admire the flowing waters of the River Goyt.
BRAND NEW PREP ROOM FOR 2024 - Discover Torr Vale Mill's newly renovated prep area and honeymoon suite, designed with wedding couples in mind. Available from 9:30am on your special day, this elegant space boasts ample natural light, two large mirrors, and bright lights, creating the perfect environment for you and your bridal/groom party to get ready. The suite is also equipped with modern amenities, including a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable preparation experience. Celebrate your wedding in style and comfort at Torr Vale Mill's exquisite new suite.
The staff at Torr Vale Mill prides themselves on providing a high calibre of service. Couples can work with the experienced events team to create the wedding day of their dreams. Whether they have an intimate gathering or an elaborate party, to-be-weds can be assured they will have exclusive use of the venue for the entire day. Overnight accommodation for up to 19 guests is available on the premises.

the first couple to get married here in 2011. It's a unique hidden gem
in the High Peak, Derbyshire. Whether it’s an intimate affair or a
