- Tissington Hall is in the unique position in Derbyshire of being able to offer couples distinctly different wedding options with the same stunning and historic background of Tissington Hall and service levels we are renowned for.
- At Tissington we are fully licensed for civil marriages and can offer a choice of settings in the Hall itself, or outside under our cloisters. If you would like a religious ceremony then St Mary's Church is only a stone's throw away from the Hall itself.
- Whether you hold your ceremony in the Hall or across the parkland at St Mary's, the venue offers the perfect reception locations. From April to October the custom built semi-permanent marquee on site has been specifically designed to house a fabulous celebration in the gardens.
- The Arboretum Pavilion is ideal for larger Spring and Summer weddings. The Marquee offers gorgeous panoramic views across the parkland. It is finished to the highest standard with stunning crystal chandeliers and starlit ceiling which produces a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. This can accommodate 150 seated for your wedding breakfast and up to 200 evening guests.
- For more intimate weddings, our renovated 18th Century Carriage House that has been sympathetically restored, retaining many of its original features, is ideal for 30 to 70 people to have an incredibly special wedding reception, with an additional capacity for another 30 to join you for an evening party.
- If you are looking for a truly special space to host a Micro - Wedding, you may like to consider a Wedding Breakfast in our historic dining room. Perfect for a smaller celebration with a real log fire and elegant furnishings, a wedding breakfast in the dining room makes for an unforgettable day for you and your guests.
- Our welcoming, professional team has over 15 years' experience of planning and hosting weddings.
- We have excellent accommodation within the village and in the surrounding areas.
