The Zetter Clerkenwell charm provides the ideal setting to say ‘I do’. Situated in the historic neighbourhood of Clerkenwell, in the heart of East London, this eclectic Georgian Townhouse is brimming with collectibles, taxidermy and fine antiques creating the most luxurious of surroundings for your big day. Right on the doorstep, the picturesque cobbles of St John’s Square or the calm of the close by Cloister Garden provide a beautiful backdrop to capture some of the day’s festivities.
With a wedding licence in place ceremonies for up to 50 guests can be hosted in The Zetter Clerkenwell. There is a choice of beautiful event spaces to suit all wedding party sizes, should you envisage an intimate celebration or a bigger reception. The Dining Room seats up to 14 guests for dinner, the spacious Games Room can have 36 people seated or 50 for a cocktail reception, or even hire the Townhouse exclusively and have up to 120 guests to celebrate. Should you wish to hold your ceremony somewhere close by, allow us to assist in recommending a local Town Hall or place of worship.
A bespoke, tailor-made feast created by Head Chef Rasheed Shahin accompanied by delicious cocktails make for a winning combination to indulge guests in. The Townhouse’s 13 bedrooms can accommodate overnight guests and they’ll have the perfect dressing room to get wedding-ready. With each room being individually designed, there certainly won’t be any squabbles over who can bag the best bedroom.
Sister property Marrable's Hotel is located just across the cobbles of St John’s Square, ideal for having more of the wedding party to stay close by.

Yours from 3pm on your arrival day until departure the following day at 11am, everyone is welcome to enjoy food and drinks on arrival and up until 1am. The more detailed planning will follow this initial proposal and as a guide, we typically find when the whole house is hired, those staying overnight usually check in and enjoy some food and drink at their leisure, then the party usually starts around 7pm with all other guests arriving from this time.

Guests enjoy a variety of canapes, hearty food portions served in bowls (we call supper bowls) or you may like to serve a selection of sumptuous sharing boards with charcuterie and cheese. Why not end the evening with a dessert buffet and later some midnight snacks! As you can see there are plenty of options and we are open for discussion.

Cannot thank Myriam enough who handled every request with biggest smile and patience leading up to the wedding day.
