Dating back to 1894, the Yarrow Hotel is a stunning Jacobethan building, combining rich history with modern luxury. Situated in the stunning coastal town of Broadstairs in Kent, this impressive wedding venue is the perfect choice for couples seeking the best of both worlds.
We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies in our restaurant, Sir Alfred Yarrow Suite and our beautiful garden Gazebo!
The Sir Alfred Yarrow Room can hold up to 120 people for a wedding breakfast and has access to it's own private garden and bar area, as well as it's own dance floor!
The spacious restaurant can hold up to 52 guests for a sit-down dinner or if you’re planning a much smaller celebration, the Private Dining Room can hold ten people for an intimate meal.
You can choose from a range of wedding packages, which are flexible and can be adapted to suit your requirements. All packages include the help of a dedicated wedding coordinator, and reduced rates on accommodation for all of your wedding guests. Here at The Yarrow Hotel we strive to make your big day as stress-free as possible by providing the newly-weds with an overnight stay in our Master Suite.

Our wedding coordinator Alexis, made the process so easy, no matter how big or small our question was. She made us feel at ease with the planning of our big day. We met regularly to check in with how things were going and kept us updated at all time. Our guests loved every minute and the food was amazing!! Our day ran so smoothly and that is down to Alexis and her team. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. The moment I looked around I could feel it had a warm and beautiful feeling. The whole day was beautifully planned out and we could just enjoy the whole day without having to worry about anything. Perfect venue & amazing staff! From the moment we looked around The Yarrow we fell in love with it as our wedding venue. Lee was so helpful, ensuring all questions were asked and even giving us information we didnt think of asking. It was apparent he knew the hotel and wedding management inside out. Once booked we began working very closely with Alexis, the events coordinator, having regular catchups to ensure the ball was always moving. We were able to tailor the whole day around our needs and this was something I didnt think was possible. Alexis was also amazing at liaising with our other suppliers chasing things up with them when sometimes we were left hanging a bit. This was something I so valued. On the day of the wedding Alexis and Lee were both on hand coordinating myself and my husband, and ensuring everything came together well. We had a specific piece of music that I walked down the aisle to and Alexis was kind enough to be on hand to let each of the bridal party know when we should start walking. This was well received after a disastrous rehersal the day before where we all found it too funny to take seriously. Alexis and the team coordinated the team beautifully from behind the scenes, keeping us updated and managing so much more than we even realised. The day went without a hitch thanks to Alexis. In the afternoon Paul, the night manager, took over and he was just fantastic, again constantly keeping us up to date and supervising so we could enjoy our evening. My mum also appreciated how on hand he was at topping up her wine glass :-) The food was absolutely divine and we had so many comments about how tasty it was from our guests. The chefs also catered both the main meal and buffet to a variety of food intolerances and preferences .This also involved poor Paul chasing down the Vegans to make sure they got their personalised platters. The next day everything had been organised for us so packing up was no bother at all. The venue is stunning, inside and out, the gardens are so beautifully maintained. Nothing was too much for anyone. I would highly recommend this venue, and the team running it. Often you get a beautiful venue, or a helpful team but The Yarrow has both!! Alexis was brilliant and supported with the planning with such expertise and passion for her role. Maisie was also really invested in our day and nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue was lovely with an interesting history set in our happy place of Broadstairs. It was a perfect day in everyway and we could not have asked for more. Our guests loved the day and venue as much as we did and the food was superb. Communication throughout was excellent and we felt every need was listened to. The suppliers that we had, through The Yarrow, were so attentive and excellent throughout. Everyone went above and beyond for us and we couldn't have been happier. Yes, we have had quite a few actors and actresses stay with us whilst filming locally, even a famous 1990's singer, television presenters and an Inbetweener!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our favourite canapes have to be our mini burgers and our salmon and creme cheese pancake rolls! We can't pick just one!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Definitely a slice of wedding cake!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our most unique feature is that we work alongside Broadstairs College training and preparing the workers of the future!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our staff! Our staff go above and beyond to ensure all of our guests, visitors and couples are well looked after and enjoy their experience with us to the fullest!
