For over 10 years, The Woodman Inn has been helping couples create unforgettable wedding celebrations. Having successfully hosted hundreds of weddings and special events, our experienced team understands exactly what it takes to deliver a seamless and memorable day. While The Barn at Thunderbridge is an exciting new venue, you can book with confidence knowing your wedding is in the hands of a team with a proven track record of creating exceptional celebrations.

Launching Summer 2027, The Barn at Thunderbridge is an exclusive new wedding venue designed to complement the natural beauty of The Woodman Inn and its picturesque countryside setting.

Replacing our existing Garden Room Marquee, The Barn will be a beautifully crafted oak-framed venue featuring expansive glazing, elegant interiors, and seamless access to our secluded gardens.

Capacity & Flexibility

Our wedding packages are based on 60 daytime guests and 100 evening guests, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration.

For larger weddings, guest numbers can be increased to suit your plans:

We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn on the 28/03/26 and it was honestly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. From the moment we first visited, we felt completely at ease, and on the day itself everything exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Nadia was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. She was super attentive, always quick to respond, and made sure every detail was thought through so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the wedding day itself she was calm, organised, and constantly one step ahead, which made such a difference and allowed us to just enjoy every moment. The entire team were just perfect — friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Every member of staff made us and our guests feel so welcome, and the service throughout the day was seamless. The venue itself is breathtaking. The character of the inn combined with the surrounding woodland creates such a unique and magical atmosphere. It felt intimate, romantic, and completely special, especially with the natural beauty of the setting around us. So many of our guests commented on how stunning it was. Overall, we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and we will always be so grateful to Nadia and the team for making our day so unforgettable. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible, and it truly gave us the most special day of our lives. A huge part of that was down to Nadia, our wedding coordinator, who is quite simply amazing. From the very beginning, she explained the entire process so clearly and made everything feel manageable and stress-free. No question was ever too small—she was always on hand to help, reassure us, and calm any nerves we had along the way. On the day itself, she was absolutely everywhere, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of. You could genuinely see how much she cared about us having the best possible day, and that meant the world to us. The venue itself is just stunning. We had our wedding in the Garden Room, which was both spacious and beautifully presented—so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous it was. It created the perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and the celebration. The evening reception was equally fantastic and flowed so seamlessly from the day. The food deserves a special mention because it was exceptional. So many of our guests have said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, which says it all. It really elevated the whole experience and was something people are still talking about. Another huge bonus is the accommodation. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and being able to reserve them for our guests the night before and the night of the wedding made everything so convenient and relaxed. It really helped turn the whole occasion into a full experience rather than just a single day. We also have to mention Jordan, who was just incredible. He was so friendly, warm, and genuinely caring, and he made us feel completely looked after—especially the morning after the wedding when he went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. We had a beautiful evening ceremony in the country room. We wanted a relaxed informal event with close family and friends and the team at the woodman delivered it all. I recently got married at this beautiful venue. All the staff are outstanding. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would personally like to thank Nadia our wedding coordinator for all her hard work. From planning the wedding she was brilliant all along the way. She makes you feel so relaxed knowing everything was in hand . I would definitely recommend The Woodman Inn. Beautiful venue. Wonderful service amazing food. They made my wedding day perfect.
