The View at Hencote Vineyard & Estate

I had my wedding here over the August bank holiday weekend and I COULD NOT have picked a better venue!! The venue itself, the views, the staff, the co-ordinators, the food were all 10/10, I have had so many compliments on how much my guests enjoyed the day. The wedding had to be moved inside due to weather concerns a few hours before the ceremony, and I have had feedback about how professional the staff were in moving everything indoors, for example checking the lighting and running rehearsals themselves to make sure everything still goes to plan. All the big and small details of the day were planned to such precision, my guests with dietary requirements were looked after and had their own canapés, meals and evening pizzas amended for them. The band also fed back how welcomed and looked after they felt at the venue. I understand there is a new front of house/ service manager who has recently started- he was there on the day and the day after to welcome myself and the guests and had a real impact on making sure we felt welcomed and overseeing the running of service- he was a real credit to the venue! The wedding and events co-ordinator and assistant co-ordinators have been there supporting me and answering all my questions every step of the way- they are also a real credit to the venue and made my life so much easier! We also stayed at the Grange with the wedding party the night before and night of the wedding- again, the facilities, cleanliness and rooms were all 10/10. Everyone was so impressed at how beautiful the rooms and views were, I would really recommend staying here. Thank you Hencote for making my wedding a 10/10 day and something that I will remember as being one of the best days of my life, aswell as being able to share it with all my family and friends.

We had such an amazing wedding day at Hencote. All our guests were blown away by the amazing scenery, delicious food and wonderful wines. The staff made the day so great and Vivienne was so helpful every step of the way. We wouldn’t change a thing, we’re still on cloud 9! If you’re looking for a beautiful fresh wedding venue that allows you to have your wedding day exactly how you’d like this is the place. From the food to the decor and everything in between Vivienne was happy to accommodate our requests, we were able to make our day individual and perfect for us.

We recently performed at Hencote for the first time and it was such an amazing experience. The staff were so welcoming and friendly to all of our team which made us feel so relaxed and happy during our performances. The venue itself is stunning and has such a beautiful view of the surroundings its become one of our very favourite places to play! We had such a great day performing for our couple and getting on so well with the Hencote team that we have been asked to perform at their next wedding open day and we are now part of their recommended suppliers, which is such awesome news as it means we should be able to perform a lot more at this amazing venue!

Thank you Hencote for the unforgettable wedding of our daughter last week. The views of the vineyards were amazing, everything went so smoothly no hitches, the band were unbelievable and the dance floor was always full. Had the pleasure of attending my nieces wedding celebration here last week and can honestly say that we cannot find fault with any aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived early afternoon until well into the evening we found all of the staff extremely efficient, very friendly and courteous. The food was superb and perfectly prepared, service was very good especially as there were well over a hundred guests. The sparkling wine was absolutely delicious. The venue itself is beautiful

Euan and I had the best wedding experience at Hencote. The staff were amazing, so accommodating, so helpful and such lovely people. The food was perfect, exactly what we asked for and everyone else enjoyed it too. The decoration was placed perfectly and the ceremony was so smooth, well organised it was just perfect. Vivienne from the start has been the best and has been so so helpful during the whole process, she did everything we asked and more even down to the finer detail. The Perfect Day. Planning our wedding with Vivienne, was simple and any special requests were easily accommodated and managed by the Hencote team. The Wedding was beautiful. The venue is stunning, and all our guests were blown away by the wonderful views, the restaurant and terraces. The food was exceptional. Both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. A special mention for all the staff. Service was excellent. The staff were very well trained, helpful and friendly. Really, we could not have wished for anything more. Words can not describe how amazing the Hencote team were at hosting our civil wedding ceremony and reception. The wedding co-ordinator, Vivienne, was both friendly and approachable. She was able to accommodate all of our wishes and even our last minute changes. I would highly recommend this venue for any event, not only because of the amazing staff but also the stunning views and brilliant food!
