We had our reception here, the Saturday before Christmas.I can not recommend the setting or the staff highly enough. Hazel was excellent, she calmed me down, looked after the guests and was the perfect toast master! The food was yummy and came out boiling hot. Through every step of the way, Lisa and Hazel (the event managers) did their utmost to make sure everything ran smoothly and to our requirements. They and their team excelled in this. The hotel provided the perfect venue, the food in the Chez Maw restaurant was out of this world (as was the evening buffet). We thoroughly recommend The Best Western Valley Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere for thier special day. You WILL NOT be let down.Through every step of the way, Lisa and Hazel (the event managers) did their utmost to make sure everything ran smoothly and to our requirements. We got married on the 4th April, and had a fantastic day. Everyone at The Valley Hotel was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The food, was outstanding both in the day and the evening. We had a fantastic day at the Valley. Everything was cordinated precisely and all the stresses of the day were bourne by the staff. The food was great and there were no problems at all during the whole day and evening. We would not hesitate in recommending the Valley to anyone looking for a venue for there big day. Thanks to all the staff for making it a memorable day at the beginning of our lives together.We had a fantastic day at the Valley. Everything was cordinated precisely and all the stresses of the day were bourne by the staff. The food was great and there were no problems at all during the whole day and evening. We would not hesitate in recommending the Valley to anyone looking for a venue for there big day. Thanks to all the staff for making it a memorable day at the beginning of our lives together.

Dave and I had the best day and we could not have wished for anything more thanks to the staff at the Valley Hotel, especially Hazel. The whole day ran perfectly without us having to worry or concern ourselves about anything, Hazel took care of everything and the food was beautiful (with a good selection). All our guests have commented on how lovely the hotel was, the setting and certainly how good the staff are. I would recommend the hotel for a wedding it is big enough to accommodate all you want but is still an intimate hotel with a very personal touch.Dave and I had the best day and we could not have wished for anything more thanks to the staff at the Valley Hotel, especially Hazel. If you want 100% attention to detail, excellent food, staff who go above and beyond and a beautiful venue surrounded by gorgeous views then the Best Western Valley Hotel is simply perfect. We had the best day ever! The staff were so patient and helpful helping us to plan. I never realised how much they get involved to make sure everything is perfect on the day. I felt clueless when I started planning but the lovely Lisa & Emily made it all so much easier and encouraged us to keep in touch regularly and responded to any queries quickly. It made the build up to the day less stressful because I had complete faith in them to make our day exactly how we wanted it. From the minute I checked in the night before I was treated like a princess! On the day all the staff were amazing and many of our guests were overwhelmed by the service and friendliness of the staff. I lost count how how many times I was told how great the staff were and how much they enjoyed the food. Lots of guests told us it was the best wedding that they've ever been to and that's thanks to the excellent food, friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous surroundings. I can't find one fault at all and would definitely recommend them. We had an amazing day, we enjoyed excellent service, fantastic food and the beautiful setting. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside which was the icing on the cake! The most perfect dayThe most perfect day
We picked the Valley Hotel because of the beautiful setting, and kept our fingers crossed for a sunny day so we could make use of the gorgeous grounds for an outdoor ceremony. Fortunately we were lucky enough to have a sunny day and we don't think we could have picked a better venue - it was stunning. From start to finish we received first class service - the staff were all fantastic and we can't thank them enough. The attention to detail and the smooth organisation was brilliant. We had an evening meal the night before the wedding and the food was absolutely delicious - even my grandmother ate it as she never eats anything!! We will definitely be returning to use the restaurant in future. The day ran so smoothly and everything was just perfect and better than we could have hoped for. The afternoon tea option was a huge success, it was great to be able to do something a little bit different to the usual wedding packages. The disco was arranged as part of the wedding package and we were so happy that the dance floor wasn't empty once. Fantastic DayFantastic Day
Fantastic day, fantastic staff who where so so helpful, beautiful venue, and food that's amazing. Perfect for large or small weddings, we had the jack field for 28, brilliant. Only downside was my 3 year old who chocked on a mini connect four counter, not hotels, even then staff where there helping straight away. Thanks Lisa ans all the staff at the valley.Fantastic day, fantastic staff who where so so helpful, beautiful venue, and food that's amazing. We got married here at Easter and right from the planning stage 2 years before, the staff here couldn't do enough for us. Every request was granted. The staff are dedicated and nothing is too much trouble. It is evident that they love their work and are supportive of each other.
