All of the staff (not just for our wedding but also our general stay at the hotel) were all so friendly and helpful, but most importantly very patient and understanding, it really felt like they were celebrating with us. We really did have an amazing day and thank you for managing to change and re schedule the whole day based on our rather early ceremony. We were very happy with the hotel itself, the Garden Suite and the garden were clean, beautiful and the perfect space for the style wedding we wanted. All the food was delicious as well and Kirsty really did and amazing job in guiding us through our day whilst we just winged it We honestly couldn't not have had a better day. Staff were brilliant, nothing was to much for them. Everything ran smoothly from food being brought out on time and buffet, to the cake being cut.. The food was great, also everyone who attended was so happy and enjoyed the day as much as we did.. The rooms were clean and the bridal suite was beautiful. We would love to do it all again and would definitely do it back at the Thurrock hotel.It was a really wonderful day from start to finish. Staff were brilliant, nothing was to much for them. Everything ran smoothly from food being brought out on time and buffet, to the cake being cut.. The food was great, also everyone who attended was so happy and enjoyed the day as much as we did.. We can happily say our wedding was the best day of our lives and the help we received from the Thurrock Hotel was second to none. We had on hand support from start to finish and we managed to get out of a few sticky spots thanks to the staff at the hotel. The day before the wedding we arranged to set up the room, when I arrived the tables had already been set ready for the next day which really helped as I was able to just then put in the centre pieces etc and relax for the evening. On the morning of the wedding I arrived and was taken to the bridal suite to get ready, the room was beautiful and had plenty of space for me and my wedding party to get ready, the lighting was perfect for makeup! Every one of our guests commented on what a beautiful day it was, how it flowed so easily and how relaxed the day was. The food was amazing and there was so much for everyone to eat. The staff were polite and helpful all day and there was never a long wait at the bar which was one thing I was worrying about. Our day was amazing, in every way and I would highly recommend The Thurrock Hotel to anyone looking to get married. In face after attending our special day my brother & his partner who have been engaged for over 8 years decided that they would like to finally tie the knot and would like to do so at The Thurrock Hotel! They loved the food and the layout of the Garden Room we booked, and the overall feeling of a relaxed day! She was with us from the beginning until the very end and then was serving me coffee and tea first thing in the morning for in the garden. They turned over our garden room 3 times so we could all drink and eat together , the service was a 5* standard I have never been to a hotel and felt as happy as I did with yourselves. It felt like home. The biggest thank you to charlotte who did not stop all weekend and was clearly so tired but still made us feel as welcome as we did she is absolutely amazing. No faults either, our room was lovely, breakfast was nice and Sunday dinner was very good so thank you again.
