The Renaissance at Kelham Hall, provides a stunning backdrop for your special day. This magnificent Victorian House remains an impressive landmark on the Trent Valley. Set within 42 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland, the hall is a fascinating example of Victorian décor and our beautiful grounds are the ideal setting for superb photographs.
We pride ourselves on delivering a friendly, welcoming and efficient service at Kelham Hall and our entire team focuses on making your day a memorable one. Our highly trained and experienced staff will help to individually tailor your requirements in order to create your dream wedding.
Our function rooms range in size from 50 guests all the way to 1000 in our spectacular dome.

At the Renaissance at Kelham Hall, your wedding unfolds within our 19th-century stately home, the Gilbert-Scott Wing, overlooking 42 acres of manicured gardens. Our comprehensive venue hire includes a dedicated wedding coordinator and venue supervisor, a luxurious bridal changing room, car parking and all essentials – linen, Chiavari chairs, tables, cutlery, crockery, and glassware. We aim to provide a seamless, elegant experience, ensuring your dream wedding becomes a reality in a setting of timeless beauty and natural charm.

The staff were excellent, approachable, flexible and attentive to all our needs and requirements. The day itself went off without a hitch. The quality of food was outstanding, and delivered to the tables simultaneously, meaning all guests could eat at the same time, which is no mean feat. In addition those with differing dietary requirements were well catered for. Furthermore, the venue was very good value for money, offering a stunning building, plenty of space, yet intimate enough to allow every one to enjoy themselves. Kelham Hall is a stunning building with very well-maintained grounds, on a sunny day no matter where you look you are faced with beauty, whether it's stunning architecture or well-landscaped grounds, this place is a photographer's dream. The facilities are excellent and the staff always seem well organised and efficient.I have visited Kelham Hall on a few occasions, mainly as a wedding supplier attending wedding fairs or dropping off goods for weddings. Due to recent flooding, my daughter's original wedding venue had no option but to cancel her reception on the morning of the wedding. Kelham Hall venue and staff to the rescue! They stepped up and went above and beyond to accommodate us making the day shift from a nightmare to an absolute magical dream! We cannot praise or thank the staff enough. Kelham Hall is set in magnificent grounds and the venue itself is a gothic masterpiece, absolutely beautiful!Kelham Hall is amazing! What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Each wedding is completely unique, so it's difficult to choose a favourite! We always love the small intimate details, one that does spring to mind is a couple having their very own personalised newspaper. It talked about how the couple met, their journey together and the running order of the day. A simple but unique idea that guests and staff loved!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have an abundance of photo opportunity locations across our Hall and gardens. A few of our team’s favourites are the Grade II listed Gazebo, the historic King’s Walk, the opulent Drawing Room or the Grand Staircase. It’s hard just to choose just one, but lucky you won’t have to on your wedding day!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Our celebrity guests are mostly historic figures, including, Sir Gilbert Scott, King Charles I and T.S. Eliot. We have also had a couple of TV and social media stars visit us, but we can’t wait to see who will grace our hallways in the future!
What’s your favourite canapé?
We are so excited to have recently launched our brand-new menus and canapes! There is so much choice, but a favourite has got to be our roast sirloin of beef mini Yorkshire puddings. Delicious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our new evening menus have just been launched, you can choose from Charcuterie tables, pulled pork, hog roast, street food and even pizzas! Our personal favourite is our signature Bao Buns which can be found within our ‘Street Food’ package.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Kelham Hall itself is a truly unique building, with original stone carvings, marble pillars, hand-painted ceilings, and ornate fireplaces, you just have to step through the door to feel the magic of Kelham Hall.

Our team! From those who are with you on the day to all those behind the scenes, our team works together to help create the most magical day for all our couples and their guests.
