Carr Bank Wedding Venue offers the most beautiful surroundings to host your special day. Combining tranquil country park views with atmospheric architecture of 1805, we are confident this is going to be the Venue for you. Carr Bank Wedding Venue is situated in the heart of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and although our specialty is Weddings, we also offer a wide range of private events too.
Although we are a newly renovated venue we have over 30 years of wedding and events knowledge and experience within our team here. We are excited to help plan and deliver your vision, so for any enquires or quick questions about what we can do for you, don't hesitate to ask one of our friendly team.

Carr Bank Wedding Venue is an idyllic location for your perfect wedding, with stunning views over the surrounding grounds and plenty of space for all your guests. If you're looking for somewhere that's both unique and traditional, then look no further.
Our head chef is Michelin Star trained and will certainly be there to ensure you and your guests have the perfect day.

Our wedding was planned over a two year period and every co-ordinator and staff member we met with during that time made us feel welcomed, relaxed and confident that we would have the perfect day - and we really did! Special shoutout to Yasmine and Ellie for making everything run smoothly on the day, keeping the bride calm and making every detail perfect.If you want a venue that will go above and beyond for your special day, choose Carr Bank! - KKaren & Dave13/08/2025Perfect weddingPerfect weddingThe venue itself is set in an idyllic location. If you are having children to your wedding, there is no time for them to bored. We had a range of ages from 8 up to 18 (as well as adults, obviously) The park is absolutely beautiful with swings, slide, climbing frame and roundabout (to name a few) massive area for them to kick a ball about. Inside the venue Perfect, so romantic and classy, with a lovely bar, with plenty of choices of drinks. The Wedding planners also made sure that they got in anything that we requested, so that is was readily available. The ceremony room was beautiful and intimate and was so delicate yet simple. Exactly what we wanted. Seating was perfectly positioned and comfortable. The wedding breakfast area was a perfect size and again was set out perfectly. It was light and elegant. In the evening, there was still a lot of space for people to sit inside and to dance. We had our own entertainment which there was plenty of room for and did not encroach on the dance area. As it was a really hot day quite a few guests chose to sit outside, where again there was plenty of room and very comfortable. The staff The staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble. They were all very professional and arranged everything from announcing us as Mr and Mrs so that we could let everyone cover us with confetti. They let us know when to be seated for the wedding breakfast and even delayed it coming out, due to a small personal issue that we had on the day. They were amazing. The food The wedding breakfast (which was for 35 guests) was incredible. Everyone within the wedding party commented on how amazing the food was. I used to be a chef, so I can be quite critical, but honestly it was fantastic. The meat was succulent and cooked to perfection. Vegetables were fantastic and just the right amount. The desserts were unbelievable. We opted for the traditional buffet, in thr rvrning, which went down a storm. There was a great variety of sandwiches and nibbly bits etc but also cake. There was plenty of food for our 100 guests. I honestly cannot fault the venue for its value for money. It was a perfect day, even better than I expected. At the viewing appointment, we fell in love with the venue, the planning appointments were relaxed yet professional. The day itself was well organised and the staff were amazing. Then to top it off we stopped in the bridal suite which was fantastic, the bed was super comfy and the bath and shower to die for. Breakfast was a selection of fresh fruit, pastries, toast and also a full English. Again amazing. Carr bank made us feel so comfortable all of our guests commented on how lovely it all was and how the day went from beginning to end. We had so many beautiful comments on the 3 course meal and evening buffet and especially the gluten free choice was amazing as I didn't realise I had so many guest whats gluten. We was absolutely overwhelmed with all the beautiful photos we had taken by Lee Panton did us so proud the grounds are amazing and the weather could not of been so great with it being November, Tammy and the whole team did everything just as we wanted looked after us so well so if your thinking of having your ceremony here dont esitate you will not be disappointed. We definitely recommend Carr bank 110% Thankyou all again for all your hardwork .. Can we do it all again 🤣🤣 enjoyed so much the day goes so fast ..We had our wedding November 30th 2024 .
