Description
The Old Beams Inn is an authentic, 11th Century, family owned and run public house and restaurant, situated on the Dorset and Hampshire borders of the New Forest. It offers the perfect setting for your intimate wedding reception with a beautiful, bright, and spacious conservatory/orangery room. We’re licensed to hold civil ceremonies at The Old Beams, so if you’re looking for the whole package, this space can be transformed to hold your ceremony, where you are able to share your special moments all in one space. We have a sizeable outdoor area with brand new decking and ample seating for guests to mingle over welcome drinks and canapés or evening cocktails and photos. We are surrounded by the beautiful forests, natural wildlife, and stunning landscapes of the National Forest Park, and plenty of idyllic locations for photographic opportunities nearby.
With great flexibility and uniqueness to the space, The Old Beams Inn can be tailored to meet your desires and dreams for your special day. Our conservatory/orangery room can seat up to 65 guests and up to 120 guests in total including the evening. However, if you just can’t decide on that guest list and want to ensure everyone can share your special day, we do offer exclusivity for the day for an additional fee.
Our catering is in-house, and our menus have been carefully created with locally sourced farm produce, creating several bespoke menus including elegant and delicious dishes for you and your guests. Alongside our menu we have a wonderful house wine list which has been paired with our menus, although if you fancy bringing something special or have a particular beverage in mind for the day, we do offer corkage options too.
We understand how demanding planning a wedding can be, so we have our very own wedding coordinator to help assist and advise you throughout your planning process. Storm is with you from the initial planning stages, to saying ‘I do’, to dancing the night away as husband and wife!

The staff from David front of house , Chef Nick , bar staff , waiters and waitresses were brilliant 👌. Buffet was superb and the atmosphere fantastic! Nothing was ever too much trouble! Thank you to Storm who organised all the arrangements prior to my party ensuring it ran smoothly 🙂.
