The Moat House, Staffordshire

Beautiful venue with the most helpful and attentive staf who supported is every step of the way and made sure our wedding day ran without a glitch. Venue is beautiful, and the surrounding village area makes for lovely photos. The venue's food and hotel rooms are brilliant. We got lots of positive feedback regarding the venue and we will definitely be returning for a visit.

The venue & in particular our wedding coordinator couldn’t have been more accommodating in helping us achieve the informal relaxed party we wanted to achieve for our wedding . The positive feedback I’ve continued to have from my guests some 6 months on confirms my own positive view with many having enjoyed it so much they’ve asked if we can do it all again next year!

I wouldn’t know where to start regarding our wedding day. It really was the best day ever! Myself and my husband got married on December 27th 2017 at The Moat House, Acton Trussell. From the moment we went to the open day the staff were amazing and answered all of my silly and sometimes crazy questions/ideas and made us feel at ease. They even let me have real reindeer on the grounds which I had organised through a local charity! On the day they really did make us feel so special and kept checking everything was how we wanted and that we were okay throughout the day. I really didn’t want the day to ever end and I can’t fault any part of our special day. The food, the staff, the location. Everything was perfect!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The most amazing day!! Half of our guests are from abroad and they all loved experiencing a beautiful English country wedding at the Moat House. Many stayed overnight as well and they still go on about how beautiful it all was over 2 years down the line. Loved that they put up my national flag on their flagpole for our day too ❤️

We got Married at the Moat House February 25th 2017 and it was just perfect! Even the rain couldn't dampen our spirits. The staff were fantastic in the lead up to the wedding and throughout the day of our wedding. The food was fantastic! We loved the lit up tree at night and got some fabulous photos! We definatley made the right decision choosing this as our venue

Thank you so much for all your amazing help and support you are all fab! Our wedding would not have been half as good without you all. We are so truly thankful for everything and hold the Moat House in a special place in our hearts. We look forward to coming back at every opportunity.

A big thank you Rachael to yourself, The Moat House staff and of course Tom our 'master of ceremonies' you made our wedding a really special day for us everything was just perfect. Our guests were full of praise for your venue and the dinner and buffet were excellent. A special thank you again Rachael for all your help from the 'Fizz' in the morning to helping me with my train!
