The Lion Ballroom is situated in the heart of Leominster in Herefordshire off Broad Street, accessed through an archway with large gates that can be closed during private functions. The building offers all modern amenities, Wi-Fi, toilets, stairs, lift, and disabled access, while offering exclusive use. The venue hire includes hire of the ballroom, use of the chairs and tables, catering kitchen and an additional room if needed. There is also access to private outside space and use of the carpark. This unique venue holds up to 100 guests and is perfect for an intimate wedding for a couple who would like an exclusive location. It now has a wedding licence and you can either choose Dry Hire or a Wedding Package. Dry Hire allows you to hire the venue and take control of your event from start to finish, making every decision. Alternatively, you can have a bespoke wedding package and choose all aspects of your wedding including the catering, flowers and styling from our trusted suppliers. Welcome to The Lion Ballroom in Leominster. We have a small intimate wedding venue, which allows flexibility and a personal touch. Each event is different and you can tailor your wedding and reception to your style. If you would like to organise your own event and use your own suppliers, you may hire the venue exclusively or you are able to use our listed suppliers and have all or some elements organised for you.

The venue hire includes exclusive use of the venue from Friday midday to Sunday midday. It includes the use of the ballroom, tables and chairs, the catering kitchen, use of the carpark, the space outside from late afternoon through the evening, a member of staff on site during your event and the venue has a wedding licence. You may choose your own caterers or you may use our caterers at an additional charge. You will be able to choose your own menu for your event.
Ceremony from £500 and then increasing to a maximum of £2999 depending on number of guests.

We offer catering to suit your individual requirements. This maybe providing you with a finger buffet or a fully catered three course meal with serving staff and coffee to finish. The choice is yours.
If you are walking, the venue is situated off Broad Street, between Oxenham Art and Roundabout Stationary. Go under the arch between the two shops and the entrance is on the left hand side.
If you are in a car, the carpark is off New Street, between Rugg House and Hinton Terrace. There is a barrier into the car park and The Lion Ballroom is situated in front of you, slightly to the left.
