From the characterful main barn and the intimate adjoining ceremony barn, to the charming covered terrace and the open field beyond, every corner offers its own touch of rural magic.
We believe every love story is unique, and your wedding should be no different. Our dedicated team specialises in crafting tailor-made celebrations that reflect your personal style and vision. From your very first enquiry to the final toast on your wedding day, our experienced event coordinator will be by your side, ensuring every detail is taken care of.
No matter the season, our talented in-house chefs will design a bespoke menu inspired by the flavours and simplicity of the Herefordshire countryside. Whether you prefer a classic seated meal or a relaxed, informal buffet, your chosen dishes will be served with care and elegance.
The barn also features a fully stocked bar, ready to serve your favourite drinks throughout your day—whether it's a signature cocktail or a local cider under the stars.

I have now been the event's manager for 6 years and has been organising over 200 weddings and parties at this incredible barn. I would love to show you around and chat about your wedding plans. Planning and organising was made really easy and personal to suit our requirements. The food was sensational and cater for all of our guests. The location and setting was stunning and provided a relaxed vibe for everyone to enjoy a wonderful day. We could not recommend the cider barns highly enough. Thank you for making our special day perfect. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. It was perfect from the beginning. The Cider Barn is the most beautiful, rustic and charming venue.. its is just so naturally beautiful. THANKYOU ❤️ you are absolutely amazing from our first meeting till the end you are so kind and made us feel so at ease and helped us create our dream wedding, so very good at what you do and a beautiful person to. Food.... wow wow wow the food was phenomenal so many compliments day and night. The food was tailored to our tastes but then they were even more amazing than we could of imagined so a huge thankyou to Sophie you and your kitchen team are wizards thankyou so much. Last but not least a massive thankyou to all the staff as they have all been totally amazing.. so very kind, attentive and worked incredibly hard to give us a truly magical and seamless wedding day. We'd been here many times before for Sunday lunches so we knew the food would be amazing and it didn't disappoint. In the lead up we had plenty of meetings with Pauline who guided us with our choices, we were able to decorate the day before, bring our own lights, fire pit and croquet for outdoors, which helped keep everything relaxed. Since moving to Pembridge back in 2017, my now husband and I, regularly visited The Cider Barn near Pembridge to sample their Sunday lunches, evening menus, music evenings and Sunday BBQ’s, plus their wonderful wines, ciders and ales. The food was always fantastic- of such high quality- well thought out and executed dishes, using fresh, local ingredients. From our initial booking enquiry, everything ran so smoothly. We had meetings with Pauline (the Cider Barn’s Weddings & Events Co-ordinator) and with Sophie and Paul who run the Cider Barn, to talk through logistics, availability, food and wine choices. We immediately felt in safe hands when it came to having our wedding reception there. Our food on the day was outstanding. Comments from our guests, was that it was the best food they had been served whilst attending a wedding- the compliments stand for the 3- course meal and our evening food. In terms of the venue itself, The Cider Barn simply oozes character and charm. The barn is airy and spacious; walls adorned with artwork by local artists depicting cows and deer (plus a couple of chicken sculptures). The adjoining terraced area and field at the rear which looks out across the glorious Herefordshire landscape, gave us lots of different spaces for our guests to mingle and enjoy – in particular the younger guests loved having plenty of space to burn off energy and climb all over the hay bales. We remember stepping into our reception venue on the day and the barn looking so beautiful. Everything had been placed with such care; the cake, our flower arrangements, table decorations (the attention to detail on the tables was incredible), the whole venue looked magical. We couldn’t be happier that we opted for the rustic charm of The Cider Barn venue for our special day. Thank you to all the team for everything. The food was delicious and the menu created by Sophie was exactly what we had in mind for our special day. Our guests were blown away by the character of the venue and how beautiful it is. What part of your business are you most proud of?
We started as a very small venue and a small team and we have grown so much in 8 years, it's a great achievement. We have now couples coming back regularly for meals with their family and reminiscing about their special day. We love seeing couples back in the venue and it shows that we like to create a relationship with the couples they are not just a number amongst many events they are all unique.
