For those wanting to relax and make the most of their time, the venue also offers 12 beautiful en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 32 guests, including a honeymoon suite for newlyweds. (October to March all weekends and April to October Midweek) From £5000, Venue to include our twelve beamed, ensuite bedrooms to accommodate up to 32 guests for two nights.(Available at all times) Package to include wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast setup. Wow, what a place! We were greeted by Brian the owner, and as we were shown around, our jaws further hit the ground. We had been planning our friends hen party for months and we had hit the jackpot! The rooms were beautiful and the communal spaces huge and catered for everyone. There was real attention to detail and huge character in the property with the log burners lit and an endless supply of logs. As said, we were there for a hen party - the disco area was brilliant.Wow, what a place! We were greeted by Brian the owner, and as we were shown around, our jaws further hit the ground. The most beautiful weekend in the idyllic Devon countryside for our intimate family wedding. Every need was catered for, the grounds were perfect for all guests as well as the bedrooms being out of this world. Having the pressure taken off, by having all the finer details dealt with by Jules and Brian made the whole experience so relaxed. Highly recommend. Had my sisters wedding here this month, and honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The staff, particularly Brian and Jules were incredibly professional and went above and beyond in their service, especially when sis has the penchant to be a bridezilla and she couldn't have been happier. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the venue itself was magical and if the day was anything to go by, they will have the perfect marriage. Thank you so so much for everything 💗 Had my sisters wedding here this month, and honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We really enjoyed our ceremony and evening do at the leaping trout . They organized all our catering and alcohol supply behind the bar. Little touches made a big impact. Little touches made a big impact.
The little touches made it a real pleasure to stay here.When we turned up there were a bunch of flowers and cake.As well as a supply of fresh coffee. Lovely soft towels that were nice and big which is a luxury on its own. Brian was more than happy to let is have a Tesco delivery come to the house which made life easier and we could use the bar with our own alcohol. Great location and stunning gardens. Oh the Leaping Trout was just idyllic. The inglenook fireplaces , old beams and tiled floors are just part of the charm We really never wanted to leave. Brian was ever so friendly and helpful and showed us how everything worked on arrival. The house is a bit of a rabbit warren but we understand the house is extremely old . we loved the wonky room in Duck and the clever use of the Mezzanine floors to house extra guests, kids thought it was so much fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Leaping Trout. It was so spacious which was perfect for the children. The men spent the whole time in at the bar and in the games room. Comfortable clean rooms all with a gorgeous botanical theme. The BBQ area was a welcome addition and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Most relaxed wedding ever !Most relaxed wedding ever !
We had a fabulous wedding in February, although the weather was cold it was the perfect winter wedding , we married inside and stayed for two nights giving our family the time to relax , it felt like a family holiday with the bonus of an intimate wedding in the middle, cosy nights by the fire, we filled our own bar and had caterers come and cook for us. Brian was so helpful with all our needs and pointing us in the right direction with some excellent recommendations for supplies.
