The Isla Gladstone Conservatory is a breath taking venue placed at the heart of the recently restored Stanley Park. Converted with much care, the Victorian glasshouse nestles amidst picturesque rose gardens, glistening lakes and historic sandstone pavilions. Adjacent to a fairy-tale bandstand, The Isla Gladstone Conservatory truly is a place of wonder and charm. Whilst there, you can’t help but feel as though you have been transported to another time and place. The sun-flooded interior breathes warmth and drama into any occasion, and the well-groomed grounds change with the turning of the seasons. Winter, spring, summer or autumn, midday through to midnight, this enchanting space provides the perfect setting for your dream wedding. We are a fully licensed venue with two locations to be married, either within the Conservatory or within our stunning Outdoor Bandstand area. Our dedicated and award-winning Events Team are on hand to expertly guide you through your wedding planning journey. With an open ear and an expert eye, they are well-equipped to best advise you along each step of the way. We will listen to you and what it is that you want from your day, and with careful attention to detail, we strive to create a product and a service that is unique to you. With registered premises to administer ceremonies, our team can, in fact, help you to oversee every detail from start to finish. We cater for a variety of requests, needs and requirements. We have been the host to many Asian Weddings, Jewish Weddings and African Weddings. Due to our size and flexibility, we are able to accommodate for a variety of capacities. Our catering staff on site are flexible and happy to accommodate a wide number of cuisines and dietary requirements.

My wife and I had been and visited many venues before we visited the Isla. The welcome that we received on the day we popped in for a show round was enough to win us over (if the gorgeous venue hadn't already done that!) From the first moment, the team were very helpful, professional and accommodating to us both. We had some dietary requirements for guests that were slightly unusual, none of which were a problem to the venue at all, with some guests who had specific needs commenting on how good their food was. On the day, the team did not stop working to make sure that we had the most magical day! We could not be more grateful to everyone at the Isla Gladstone for everything! Absolutely amazing venue and staff Absolutely amazing venue and staff
We fell in love with the venue right from the beginning, it is stunningly beautiful inside and out. But the events team made it all even better. We had several meetings to make sure everything was ironed out, a menu tasting where we basically rolled out at the end with a really difficult decision ahead of us, and on the day it was perfect. We were reassured ahead of time because whoever we spoke to, anyone who had been to an event there was telling us how incredible it was and so we went in with high expectations only to find them exceeded. The events team we dealt with beforehand and the staff team on the day were amazing. Couldn't fault a single thing, and the wedding meal was the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. We loved it, although there's pressure on from about 80% of our guests to repeat the party every year. We can't recommend highly enough. We got married at the Isla Gladstone in October 2022. From the initial viewing Clare was so happy, and helpful taking us through all the options available to us. Then after that whenever we emailed with questions she would always respond quickly and politely, and in detail. On the day of our Wedding Asha and Abby made sure everything was set out perfectly. All our guests were really impressed with how the venue looked, and everyone includig our guests with specific dietary requirements were all well fed and very pleased with the food, saying how nice everything was. Cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for us so our day was perfect.We got married at the Isla Gladstone in October 2022. An unbelievable day for our Wedding. An unbelievable day for our Wedding.
We had an evening wedding at the Isla. It was truly a magical experience for myself and my wife. The staff the lead up to the wedding were fantastic. Everybody who came to the party described the venue as being fantastic and beautiful. The food was unbelievable and everyone commented on how good the service was. We had Abby in charge of the logistics side of the wedding. She was brilliant and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day. Everything was organised to a T and she helped everybody she could. She couldn't do anymore! We had an evening wedding at the Isla. It was truly a magical experience for myself and my wife. My wife and I were absolutely delighted with our big day at the Isla Gladstone. The whole team worked so hard to make the day as special as possible. Our ceremony was outside in the bandstand, and our reception inside the beautiful conservatory. The Best Day EverThe Best Day Ever
We had our wedding reception at the Isla Gladstone after our ceremony. The team at the Isla Gladstone were so supportive and quick to respond to any questions we had in the run up and gave us lots of great advice about things we hadn't thought of. The staff on the day were absolutely fabulous and lots of my guests commented on this afterwards. The food was amazing, really just so good and all my guests loved it including our vegan and gluten free guests who we were able to provide lots of options for. I'd recommend this venue to anyone it's truly so beautiful and it was such an incredible night!!We had our wedding reception at the Isla Gladstone after our ceremony. Hello! We cannot believe it has been almost one week since the best day. We have had so many compliments on the whole day. We would be grateful it you could pass on our thanks to Abbie who was absolutely incredible on Friday. From the booking of the wedding right up to the day your communication and helpfulness has been second to none. You really are a great team. You have kept me sane throughout the whole process. The venue was out of this world, such stunning grounds, beautiful interior & with Lydia's extra touch even more exquisite. We had nothing but compliments all day about how beautiful the place was. The grounds getting to sit out & enjoy the singer along with the Sun beaming down. The food on the day WOW. It was so delicious and everyone said the same. I don't think there wasn't a meal that wasn't eaten 😁. Special mention to Abbie & her team that day they made sure everything ran to time and smoothly, but not making it regimental at the same time, it just flowed. Nothing was ever too much for them & they kept me calm, even helping with the change over of my shoes. So thank you girls you were the best. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts from never being our original plan, I honestly believe now that we were never destined for a destination wedding we destined for here to share it with everyone we did that day. I feel sad it's all over, all that hard work and done haha. But I am sure I will crack on with something else no doubt 🤣. Hope your all well.
