The Inn On The Lake, Cumbria

We recently got married at the Inn on the Lake in March 2024. It was is amazing wedding venue with super friendly staff. A big thank you to the whole wedding team especially Jonathan, Kerri and Teresa for planning and executing the day perfectly, it exceeded our expectations. Jonathan (wedding coordinator) made our day run so smoothly from attaching the men’s button holes to setting up our decorations, which looked so professional. Our guests loved the hotel and were impressed with the wedding food and drinks. The weather was so sunny on our day, so we got married outside. If you can I would highly recommend it! The venue and its lands are stunning, creating lots of photo opportunities. The new patio area looking on to the lake was great place for guest to relax and chat. The bridal room was gorgeous and very spacious, perfect for the girls getting ready with hair and make up. Thank you again for creating the best wedding day! Love, Rachel and Lewis x

Words cannot even describe how amazing The Inn on the Lake is! The whole team are unbelievably helpful, attentive, down to every last detail, no question was too much! Our wedding at the Inn on the Lake was absolutely wonderful! The venue is really beautiful, the staff are really friendly and helpful, it was all round a dream come true. The day flashed past in an instant, but the staff were really efficient in getting everything set up and getting everyone where they needed to be. The guests really loved the beautiful location and the different rooms you move through throughout the day. Really top marks!

We both left the venue feeling so excited because we knew that this is exactly where we wanted to marry each other. The venue is stunning, the location is beautiful & all the staff made us feel so welcome. Thank you Kerri for all your patience & guidance in planning our day, you were amazing and we couldn't have done it without you.

We want to say a huge thank you. We had the most wonderful wedding day. When we were deciding on a venue and saw the Inn on the Lake we instantly knew it was perfect, but the actual day surpassed our expectations. The staff were so friendly & the food was exceptional, we had lots of positive feedback about both from our guests too. The setting is beautiful & the day was planned and executed so well, thank you, everything on your side seemed seamless and meant we could relax and enjoy our day.

We had an absolutely amazing day, and wishing we could re-live it all over again as it went too quickly! Everything went seamlessly and that meant we could just enjoy the day and didn't need to worry about a thing - a huge thank you to yourself, Jon and everyone at Inn on the Lake for making it such a fantastic day.

We had the most perfect day and it exceeded our expectations, including the weather! 😁 Jonathon and the team were incredible and made us feel at ease (as much as possible when you're preparing for a wedding!). The kitchen and waiting staff were all fab too - the food was all superb as well as the service! We honestly couldn't have asked for much more. We had the most wonderful day on Monday. The staff and venue were an absolute dream. Everyone did such an amazing job and thank you for making our day even more special. The service was so intimate and better than we could have hoped for. Every single guest commented on the amazing quality of the delicious food and everyone's professionalism and kindness. Both us and the guests had the best day ever. I honestly didn't stop smiling all day. We will always hold fond memories forever.

The best wedding venue with the most stunning surroundings and the best team of staff ever. Not a single thing went wrong or not quite to plan. Everything was as we wished for and nothing we asked was too much trouble. They are a credit to the beautiful venue and they made our day perfect. We were made to feel so special our whole stay and it really did make a difference to us. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more - Jonathan, Kayleigh and Kerri a huge shout out too - they are just beyond incredible! We are overwhelmed by how perfectly run the day was and we will be forever grateful. To anybody thinking of getting married here, don’t think about it - DO IT.
