The Guildhall, St Ives

This intimate venue is available for legal ceremonies, civil partnerships, blessings and daytime receptions for up to 25. Steeped in history and available for the first time as a licensed ceremony venue. An unforgettable space; perched on the edge of The Island with views out across St Ives Bay. The Island Blockhouse is a truly unique location for your relaxed Cornish wedding.

Completed in 1939, the historic building has unique features and beautiful artwork. Three gorgeous rooms are available: The Mayor's Parlour, The Council Chamber, and the Balcony Room. Small and perfectly formed, the Parlour has a capacity of 12 loved ones for a micro wedding. Ideal for intimate soirees and elopements, the venue can even provide witnesses. The Balcony Room can host up to 20 guests and boasts huge windows letting in the light St Ives is famous for. The Council Chamber seats up to 60 guests for a ceremony. The wood-paneled room is a beautiful blank canvas for your ceremony. Couples can also book of the stunning Island Chapel, perfect for blessings, vow renewals, and other special events, standing on the iconic Island in St Ives, with uninterrupted views over the Cornish coast. This can be booked alone or for a blessing following your ceremony at the Guildhall. All three ceremony and reception rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies. The rooms can be booked individually for a ceremony or combined to create the day you want. Whatever you are looking for, be it a ceremony, drinks reception, afternoon tea or celebrations in the evening, the staff can accommodate your plans.
