This secluded wedding village is nestled in the heart of Cornwall and is exclusively yours for your wedding. Enjoy a stay of up to three days with your friends and family. Located in a valley on the edge of Bodmin Moor, the surroundings are stunning with 360 degree views. With its accommodation and event spaces, this former dairy farm was converted with weddings in mind. There is a farmhouse, five cottages and five further hotel-style rooms. Our accommodation is rated 5 star and up to 40 of your loved ones can stay. Local overflow accommodation is available for additional guests.
Every part of your wedding can be accommodated in bespoke indoor spaces which means that the venue is perfect at every time of year. There are no clumsy turnarounds and you don't have to worry about the weather.
We're wedding experts and support you every step of the way. We look after the logistics, allowing you to focus on the things that matter to you.
You're spoilt for choice when it comes to your ceremony with four places to say I do: The Oak Arbour, The Lake Arbour, The Wedding Barn or The Really Rustic Barn. Our Red Brick Barn is perfect for your meal and evening reception with its wall of glass that opens up onto the terrace, lawns and those views. The Green Room is the hub of the venue and you will all gather there for your welcome dinner and breakfasts.
There are endless photo opportunities here with woods, a lake, an orchard and a meadow. Did we mention those views? The barns themselves are in a cluster which works perfectly. It's hard to believe that this place wasn't built with weddings in mind.
Our caring and dedicated team will look after you every step of the way from the first phone call to the moment when you leave as a married couple. We are experienced in planning weddings but we love a challenge, so bring us your ideas, we'd love to help you make them happen. All of your meals are included and prepared with care in our kitchens using local produce.

The food has to be one of our highlights, our guests are still talking about how amazing it was! Best day ever!It couldn’t have been more perfect. They looked after the guests brilliantly and everything ran very smoothly. I would recommend this venue for your wedding. The food was plentiful. They coped with multiple special diets expertly. They managed everything from the time of booking up until the departure very well and their time line was perfect. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
On 29th March 2014 we hosted the first same sex wedding in Cornwall. This is a wedding we will never forget.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Maximise the time you have with your guests. It really does go by in a flash. Get everyone together for a few days rather that a few hours and everything will be so much more relaxed.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A bride once had her groom's classic car secretly restored and presented it to him during the "first look" That was pretty special.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There really are too many to choose from but if we had to pick just one then we would say in the woods.... the light there is perfect throughout the year
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've had a few but we would never gossip!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini scones jam and cream. Done the Cornish way of course.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Its just got to be pasties. Who doesn't love a portable snack of the dance floor. Pasties were practically designed for this.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's a happy accident actually, but we have the most wonderful layout, a cluster of barns set on the edge of a valley. Everything is close together but at the same time you never feel overlooked. Those old farmers knew the land and where to build their barns.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
All of it! We're really proud of all the facilities we provide and that we have weatherproofed the venue making it perfect year-round.
