The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and our room (the lookout suite) was incredible. We met with Jane the Wedding coordinator who was very welcoming and went through all of the options that The Greenbank had to offer. Jane was very honest with us and open to receive our ideas and suggestions. Jane certainly knew her stuff from her years of wedding organising and was very attentive to detail. The day itself was perfect and the stay in the newly furnished Honeymoon Suite, The Lookout, was incredible! It was clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable. We would highly recommend The Greenbank Hotel for both a Wedding or a stay. - SSally05/11/2018BEST WEDDING DAY!!BEST WEDDING DAY!!We had our wedding reception at the Greenbank 2 weeks ago and would thoroughly recommend anybody thinking about the venue to just go for it. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jane the wedding organiser was extremely helpful and organised on the lead up to the day and made organising the wedding fun and easy! What can we say about the venue!! The hotel sits on the river and has the most incredible views across to Flushing. We were so lucky on our wedding day with the weather which meant that people could have photos taken on the balcony attached to the function room. Jane was open to lots of ideas and encouraged us to come in to the hotel by boat which we are now so pleased we did as it was such an experience and our guests loved it!! The food was just incredible and many people commented that it was the best wedding food they had tasted! Our bridal suite was more like a luxurious apartment!! its just a shame we didn't get to spend more time lapping it all up but we will certainly be back to stay again at the hotel very soon. Every single member of staff were extremely helpful, polite and made the whole day run smoothly. The service was just impeccable!! - SSue04/11/2018Super location........Super location........We stayed here for two nights at the end of October, the purpose of our visit was to attend a family wedding in Redruth with the reception then taking place at the Greenbank. We received a cheery welcome on arrival and were then directed to our Superior harbour view room. Our classic/ contemporary mix, first floor room had a large bay window on the waters edge with stunning harbour views. The position was fantastic and you could quite easily be mistaken in thinking you were cruising at sea. The selection of tea and coffee was first class with loose leave tea and cafetière coffee available extra to the usual sachets supplied. White Company toiletries in the bathroom with large, soft comfy towels to complete the bathing experience! A special touch. (So many hotel towels are on the small side and too hard) Breakfast offered a good selection to suit everyone. Fruits, continental or a varied hot menu with allergies catered for on request, (important to me as I am Coeliac). The only thing I would add, not as a criticism but as a suggestion would be to source and supply a better gluten free bread, everyone supplies plain white, small un-inspiring slices, come on...... there are more appealing seeded loafs and rolls out there! Parking can be a challenge when busy, we were fortunate to find a space at the rear of the hotel, you can enter the hotel through the pub which is situated on the lower ground floor also at the rear. When we went to the greenbank hotel we instanly fell in love with the venue, we were met by Jane who was extremely informative and very passionate about what she does, she went through all everything in detail of all the different wedding packages and food and drink chooses, while keeping our budget in mind. We were then shown around the hotel and the river bank suit which allowed us to be able to visualise how are wedding, we were then shown the bridal suit and other rooms we were completely blown away by the whole hotel, we did not have to commit to anything while we were there and where allowed to go away and have a think, as soon as we left both me and my partner had already decided that this was the venue for us. Jane was always at the end of the phone or email if we needed any advice or simple questions nothing was ever to much trouble. I stay at the hotel the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids we were given a large room witch allowed us to have enough space to get ready and fit in the photographer hairdresser and make up artist. Everything was absolutely perfect from the ceremony right through to the wedding reception. Every single one of my guests comment on how perfect the hotel was and how amazing the food and all the staff were. The whole day ran smoothly and allowed both me and my partner to take everything in and really enjoy our selves rather than worrying about anything. We could not of wished for anything more on our special day and wish we could do it all over again. And want to Thank every member of staff who where involved in our wedding . The bar is brilliant and the staff so attentive, the food was amazing and the function room was superb, again with fabulous views. No detail, big or small, was too much for Jane and she had a fabulous attention to detail - it became obvious very early on that we were in safe hands with her and her team. In short, if you're considering the Greenbank for your wedding or reception, and you like it, go for it, you won't regret it!We had our Wedding Reception here, and Jane and her team were just amazing. Jane was exceptionally helpful during all of the planning, that included meeting my Husband and I, our families, answering all emails swiftly (no matter how silly they were) and dealing with lots of last minute changes. On the day, Jane and the rest of the team were incredible. Everyone was so happy to help and worked hard to make the day run smoothly. The whole day was faultless. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue, the staff and the food. It means so much that we have nothing but fond memories of our wedding day. Our stay in the bridal suite was amazing, the room was beautiful and spotless. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and again the service was faultless. We look forward to visiting the hotel lots in the future and will recommend friends and family to do so too!
