Description

Built in 1506, the Grade II* listed barn is nestled in the picturesque grounds of a scheduled monument heritage site featuring a further three historic listed buildings, beautiful landscaped gardens and a 14th century moat. Situated in Harrow, just 40 minutes from the heart of London and with easy access to the M25, M40, M1 and Heathrow Airport, The Great Barn at Headstone Manor and Museum is the ideal venue for weddings, civil ceremonies and special occasions. Our dedicated events team guarantee the highest level of service to ensure that your day is truly memorable. We would be delighted to show you around their magnificent site and wonderful historic buildings, and can also recommend fantastic caterers, photographers, florists, entertainment and other suppliers who are familiar with the site.

Important Notes:

We operate as a dry hire venue, so you’ll need to bring in your own catering, décor, linens, and entertainment. We have a preferred supplier list (attached) to help with this.
No indoor cooking is allowed. The catering tent must be used for all cooking, and only gas or electric equipment is permitted—no wood burners or coal BBQs.
No corkage fees. You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol or hire a bar supplier. However, drinks cannot be sold onsite, so all alcohol must be prepaid or provided by you. Your caterer or bar supplier will have access to our bar fridges, ice machine, and glass dishwasher.
Capacity:
Up to 250 guests for a ceremony
Up to 200 seated for a reception (For larger seated numbers, a marquee would be needed, with the barn used for dancing and social space.)

Our wedding package includes: - Hire of the barn from 10.00 to 23.00 Monday to Wednesday and 10.00 to 23.55 Thursday to Sunday. All suppliers and guests need to be off site by this time. - An allocated Events Coordinator from the venue - Duty managers - Access to the museum grounds for photos - Fairy lights! - Uplighters that can be programmed to various colours - Use of all the fridges within the bar and bar store area, along with a supply of ice and dishwasher - Tables and Chiavari Chairs - Use of Easels, shabby-chic divider doors, shutter dividers, ceremony table and welcome guest book table - Use of outdoor grassland to the rear of the barn for a marquee, outdoor ceremony or drinks reception - Dressing room. - Use of the finishing kitchen with 2x hot cupboards, 2x industrial sized fridges, hot water (This area is for plating up, the area at the rear of the barn is for cooking) - Use of (fixed) catering tent at the rear of the barn for cooking - Use of public car park - Sound equipment for background music and speeches.

Perfect wedding venuePerfect wedding venue
I cannot recommend Headstone Manor enough as a wedding venue. The staff were extraordinarily professional. They took all the pain out of organising the wedding. They coordinated our vendors, they managed the set up, they were there throughout the wedding to provide support and they made the whole experience such a pleasure. As the groom, I didn’t need to worry at any point. I cannot emphasise enough how great they were. The venue itself is extraordinary. It was such a versatile space and it allowed us to comfortably host 155 guests for a buffet and a ceilidh. And of course, the barn is incredibly beautiful. All in all, just wonderful. We used the Great Barn for our civil ceremony and evening reception and had the most incredible day in the most beautiful venue – but we couldn’t have done it without the excellent managers and staff at the barn. We booked this venue for our Wedding. I knew from the moment I walked in that this would be it! I’m so incredibly happy that this was the chosen venue as we had the best day! Laura our events manager was absolutely amazing from start to finish, words can not even describe how thankful and grateful we are. A hidden gemA hidden gem
The Great Barn is truly a hidden gem. Our guests enjoyed coming to a wedding venue which has so much character. The venue requires minimal decor as it is beautiful and the fairy lights inside add to the character of such a unique venue. A wonderful occasionA wonderful occasion
We recently held our daughter’s wedding at the Great Barn and it was a wonderful occasion. The barn itself looked stunning and very magical, with a combination of the lighting in situ, flowers and candles and a few fairy lights. The barn was large enough to ensure our guests could move around comfortably with plenty of space for a dance floor. Everything ran smoothly on the day and we had many compliments on both the venue and the seamless running of the day.We recently held our daughter’s wedding at the Great Barn and it was a wonderful occasion. The barn itself looked stunning and very magical, with a combination of the lighting in situ, flowers and candles and a few fairy lights. The barn was large enough to ensure our guests could move around comfortably with plenty of space for a dance floor.
