Not only are we a laid-back venue, We offer a more traditional style of wedding to, from hot buffets to a traditional wedding breakfast there isn't much we don't offer. We love to tailor our weddings to suit each couple, so not only do we offer packages we offer a bespoke menu also .

My husband and I got married at The Fishpond earlier this month, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The venue itself is beautiful, cosy and whimsically unique - exactly what we were looking for. Holding our intimate ceremony in the Raft, and moving into the stunning, regal Ballroom for the reception gave the entire day a flawless, natural flow. We both also appreciated the creative freedom we were given to create the space we wanted. Our biggest praise must go to Liley, and the incredible team. From day one, Liley went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication made our day unforgettable. Our guests haven't stopped complimenting how warm the staff were, and how brilliantly they executed the entire event. To top it off, the food was spectacular. Every dish tasted fresh, homemade, and perfectly portioned, leaving our guests completely satisfied. Thank you so much to Liley and everyone at The Fishpond, for giving us the most perfect day. The Best Wedding Ever!!The Best Wedding Ever!!
We had an absolutely amazing wedding with the fishpond. Food and drinks were incredible. We had Live music and entertainment for children and the fishpond were great for accommodating this. There are beautiful gardens and lots of lovely photo opportunities. Events manager Lily was super helpful and guided us all the way through with a super professional manner from start to finish.We had an absolutely amazing wedding with the fishpond. Saturday was one of the best days of our lives. Firstly the venue itself is gorgeous amazing space in the ballroom that has so much character and unusual. Lily and the staff did a great job made us feel so at ease and welcome, Lily handled the event and honestly not only is a lovely and warm person but has amazing organisational skills, the flow of the day was perfect and everything we had asked of her she did and more. The food was incredible everything was cooked well and there was more than eSaturday was one of the best days of our lives. The Fishpond was the most fantastic wedding venue for us as a laidback couple. It was reasonably priced and also super flexible - we could pretty much do anything. We were able to have our dog with us during the day too which just made it for us. Everyone commented how amazing the staff and food were, as well as how beautiful the room looked. In fact, our photographer said it was the best food he'd ever had at a wedding! Our wedding planner Liley was absolutely fantastic. We've just had our wedding at The Fishpond and we have to report that it was the greatest day of our lives. All made possible by the flexible approach of the venue. We were tired of viewing wedding venues with high prices and limited choices. Everyone complimented the food options where they were able to pick from a number of options avoiding us having to compromise on just one thing that hopefully everyone would enjoy. We've just had our wedding at The Fishpond and we have to report that it was the greatest day of our lives. All made possible by the flexible approach of the venue. We were tired of viewing wedding venues with high prices and limited choices. Everyone complimented the food options where they were able to pick from a number of options avoiding us having to compromise on just one thing that hopefully everyone would enjoy.

When we got engaged we knew we wanted a more casual and laid back wedding compared to most, and when we viewed The Fishpond for the first time we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and Liley the wedding co-ordinator is an absolute star. No question was a stupid question for Liley and no request was too much either, she was happy to listen to our ideas and offer guidance and ideas to help us have the most perfect day. On the day, Liley and the rest of the staff made the day run perfectly without any of the wedding party having to stress about timings or schedules or where we had to be. All of our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was and how lovely the day was. The food during the day was absolutely phenomenal (and so much of it too) and the evening buffet was a huge success among the evening guests. Thank you so much to The Fishpond for helping us have the perfect day!
