From start to finish, they made sure everything ran smoothly and nothing was ever too much trouble. They went above and beyond both before and on the day, and their kindness and friendliness made the whole experience even more special. We would highly recommend The Folly at The Farmhouse to anyone — it was the perfect venue for our day. And the pizzas were an absolute hit with all our guests! We HAD to have our evening reception at the Farmhouse because the venue is such a special place to us. It’s where my now husband took me for our first date 6 & 1/2 years ago. We spend our anniversaries there, a few birthdays, and he also proposed to me there last year! We kept the tradition going and we have even got our baby shower booked for October. I can’t describe how special this place is for us, and the evening reception was exactly what we wanted. Chill, intimate vibes. We even roasted marshmallows on the fire pit! A massive shout out to Paige. She has been so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and she’s a credit to the team. Also to George, who was working our wedding - AND served us the night we got engaged. He’s just an absolute joy. Everything just ran so smoothly, they were there making sure everyone was where they needed to be, so there was zero stress for us. They even signed our heart guest book, and left us a card in our room. The little touches were just so lovely! These girls completely make the folly and are a massive credit to the team. All the wedding's we have are special and so much fun! - One of our favorites this year would have to be Sophie and Stephen's back in April. They had a Live painter, who captured the Wedding breakfast perfectly and even added in their beautiful chocolate lab as a little surprise.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Find time to relax and enjoy the process, we advise our couples to stick to a schedule and have a monthly tick list to ensure nothing is rushed
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We are obsessed with the 'we've tied the knot so take a shot' Wedding favours!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Couple shots on the grounds and the field of The Folly are usually our favourite, when the horses at the farm next door get involved they turn out even better!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had a few VIP visits, Lucy Meck came to us last year and was absolutely lovely!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our Beetroot and Goats cheese Crostini's are to die for

Roasting Marshmellows on the Fire pit has to be a favourite
