Our venue offers endless possibilities for all styles of weddings. From full-day celebrations with a ceremony, to intimate evening receptions, we've got you covered. With six private rooms available, you have the freedom to craft a bespoke and unforgettable day that reflects your unique love story. The stunning 1930s Art-Deco Ballroom, the Lord Trent Room, situated on the first floor with views of Trent Bridge. This refurbished space is a true gem, boasting double-height ceilings, magnificent crystal chandeliers, original leaded stained-glass bay windows, architectural arches, and a central dance floor. It can accommodate up to 90 guests for a seated wedding breakfast and up to 140 guests for an evening reception. Adjacent to the Lord Trent Room, you'll discover the exquisite Jesse Boot Room. This intimate and oak-panelled space, once Jesse Boot's former office, exudes charm and sophistication. Adorned with original stained-glass windows and offering a gallery view of the main room in the pub below, this delightful space sets the perfect stage for intimate ceremonies and cosy wedding breakfasts. It also provides a tranquil and relaxed setting for those quieter moments during your magical evening.

During the past 12 months, the team at the venue could not have made us feel more supported, or provided us with a better service, they really are excellent. A particular shout out to Shereen, who is a total superstar!! The rooms we hired were dressed to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for better service from shereen and the team.The whole process was very well organised and was very accommodating to any needs and details I wanted. Anything I was unsure she was always there to help! The wedding day it’s self was amazing! Went so smoothly thanks to the whole team everything went as planned! The room was decorated perfectly! Also big shout out to chefs the food was amazing all my guests couldn’t believe how We had our wedding evening party here on 19/8/23! I couldn’t have asked for better service from shereen and the team.The whole process was very well organised and was very accommodating to any needs and details I wanted. Shereen, the events manager, was a dream come true - so kind and helpful, she helped us with the planning and we couldn't have managed it without her. For a really reasonable price, we hired the two upstairs rooms, and although we did provide most of our own decorations they were able to set it up for us and the rooms looked so gorgeous! The food (hot buffet, cottage pie) was amazing, several guestsWe held our wedding reception at the Embankment, and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
