The Elms

We would like to thank the whole team at The Elms for helping to make sure our wedding day was a complete success. From very responsive emails from Siobhan throughout the preparations, nothing seemed too much trouble, to the way they followed our vision to set up the venue just the way we wanted it on the day. The on the day team were completely on the ball and made sure everything ran smoothly. Could not have asked for a better day and a lot of the worries and stresses were taken away knowing we were in good hands. We have received many positive comments from our guests regarding how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food tasted (especially the evening buffet) Thank you again Mr & Mrs Andrews

Alex and I just wanted to email to send a huge thank you to yourself, Jane and the team at the Elms. Our day was so wonderful it’s hard to put in to words but we are so grateful to all the staff for working so hard and efficiently to make sure the whole day ran smoothly. We did not have any worries or concerns on the day that something wasn’t going right. The food, drink and service was fantastic. The guests were filled with compliments at the style of the hotel and were in such high spirits to be there. I hope you enjoyed seeing the venue come together with our flowers and wedding decor to make our perfect day. All the renovations you have carried out recently just looked so wonderful and definitely added some extra wow factor. I will be sure to send on a few photos from the photographer when we get them. The biggest of thank you’s from us, the new Gilberts. The Elms will forever remain a special place to us and we hope to visit again when we return from Australia. We just want to thank The Elms for everything they did to make our wedding day the most perfect day. Siobhan supported us in the planning and Jane ran the day so effortlessly! All the staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was delicious and the venue is just beautiful. What we loved the most was having exclusivity: just our guests for the entire day and night. Having breakfast altogether the next morning just extended our wonderful day. We wish we could do the day all over again and would recommend The Elms to anyone looking for a stunning venue, with excellent hospitality. ... Mr & Mrs Page.

Firstly a huge huge thank you to you and all of the staff.. especially Jane.. who were so tentative on our day and for lunch on Sunday. You are all wonderful and made it so memorable and all go so smoothly. We can’t thank you enough. I hope you enjoyed seeing it all together and it come to life! It was surreal! And I’m still on a high.

I cannot give you all enough gratitude, it was absolutely amazing from start to end. We have had so many compliments and good praises about how well organised and amazing you all were, all of our guests were so impressed and they had the best time, lots of them said it’s one of the best weddings they’ve been to! Honestly you guys were the best, everything ran so smoothly, you were all so helpful, attentive & friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing! I can’t thank you all enough!

Wow. I don't even know where to start with our review of the Elms. On 2nd August this year, my husband and I had our wedding reception at The Elms and we are still on cloud 9. It was a perfect day from start to finish, with delicious food, attentive service, and beautiful rooms and gardens in which we and our guests could celebrate in style. Siobhan was an excellent wedding co-ordinator and planned everything meticulously. She accommodated all the (many!) little touches and small details that we wanted in order to make our wedding personal and unique and was always on hand to advise us on matters great and small, from the order of the day to the best location for a rather large photo booth. Most importantly, Siobhan made us feel supported, replying to my many emails with the reassurance I needed but also with a little joke or well-timed comment that made me smile and feel at ease. All of the staff who looked after us and our guests on the day of our wedding, as well as the morning after, treated us like royalty, especially Jane, who was in charge of festivities on the day and ensured that everything ran smoothly with good humour and an enormous smile on her face; by the end of the day she felt like more like one of our guests than a member of staff. So many of our guests have commented on how incredible the staff were: nothing was too much trouble for them. The Elms is a truly magical venue and we could not have picked anywhere better to celebrate our marriage. The happy memories of our wedding day will last a lifetime and that is due in no small part to The Elms Hotel and Spa and its wonderful staff. We can't thank them enough!

Our heartfelt thanks for an amazing weekend! Our guests were so well taken care of and the day itself seamless. Thank you all very much for all of your hard work!

Katie and I would like to say a very BIG thank you once again for everything The Elms did on our wedding day. It was the perfect day at a stunning venue and we would totally do it all again if we could, we enjoyed it that much! Our guests have nothing but good words to say about the whole day, including the venue, the rooms, the food, the spa - everything, it was just perfect.

Thank you all so much for playing a part in making Saturday such a memorable day. The Elms provided Kate and Jack with the setting the wanted to celebrate with family and friends, all their guest have said what a lovely wedding this was and how much the good service and food was appreciated. I have been asked by Rob to comment on how much the hot canapés were enjoyed!

We had the most amazing wedding at the Elms, my mum suggested the venue as she had visiting before and thought it was lovely. It was just perfect for us as we were able to have a really intimate wedding in a very relaxed, luxurious and beautiful venue. Fern and the team helped us through every detail and offered advice on suppliers, room layouts and even offered us their own brollies in case it rained (which we are glad to say it didn't). The food and drinks were delicious, the food tasting session was one of the best bits of the wedding planning and another great excuse to visit. Our guests enjoyed using the spa and wandering around the gardens the day before. We were also able to get some great pictures of the children on the trampoline and playing with all the toys. The building looked amazing in all the photos and the bridal suite was fabulous, we wish we could stay there forever and will most definitely look forward to our next visit. We couldn't thank you more, it was the most wonderful wedding and the Elms, Fern and the team made it a magical and memorable day. One we will treasure forever
