We came as a family for our 14th wedding anniversary with our 2 small children. We were a little late but they were happy to put the booking back 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, The food and drink were excellent and the green in front was the perfect place for the children to burn off some excess energy without disturbing the other diners. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

We made a group booking for 21 people for my birthday, at the last minute as we had to find somewhere local because of of the train strike and not being able to get to London. Having been to the pub before for drinks, we decided to try the restaurant for a birthday dinner and it was lovely. The service was efficient and friendly. The wine was not ridiculously priced and the menu had a good selection of all types of food. The location is great especially in the Summer, but we would go back at any time of the year.
