Horsley Towers is an Exclusive Use wedding venue in East Horsley, near Guildford Surrey.
With picturesque grounds to create stunning wedding photography and a civil ceremony licence across 3 function rooms across the estate! Horsley Towers is simply the perfect venue.
At Horsley Towers we offer you the opportunity to create the wedding of your dreams. Sweep your way up our drive in your bridal car after a church service, or choose to say your vows in one of our elegant drawing rooms. You have full use of three function rooms and the Towers Bar giving lots of flexibility for choosing which room for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and then evening reception.
Horsley Towers will be you castle for the day. There are endless photo opportunities with the chapel and cloisters providing the perfect backdrop what ever the weather.
There are 28 bedrooms in the Victorian mansion house and a further 147 bedrooms in the next building and therefore plenty of space to accommodate all of your friends and family.
The Great Hall lends a dramatic atmosphere with its vaulted ceiling and oak-panelled walls, whereas the Sopwith Suite provides an elegant space with original features and timeless décor. Both are popular choices for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts seating up to 110 and 120 guests respectively. The 1820 room sits alongside the Towers Bar making it ideal for evening receptions.
Elsewhere the mansion's cloisters and chapel offer a wealth of unique photo opportunities, while the lakeside lawns and terrace make a wonderful space for your guests to celebrate.
With bespoke wedding menus and a dedicated team of wedding coordinators; we’ll ensure every detail is cared for to create an unforgettable day.

- WWill & Mel17/01/2025Wedding at short noticeWedding at short noticeDue to family health reasons, we had to chance our destination wedding from Mexico (in summer) to East Horsley (in winter) with only four weeks notice. Thanks to De Vere Horsley our whole UK experience was fanstastic and we count ourselves so lucky for them making our wedding amazing! The staff were like an instant extended family. The food was amazing and the venue itself was incredible. The speed and professionalism for which the event came together was also impressive. Every member of staff was outstanding, the service top class, the food amazing, lots of amazing feed back from our guests on it all. We were very blessed how all the co ordination came together, even when someone got make up on a jacket they had that sorted. Honestly we could not have wished for a more perfect day so a massive thank you To Horsley, Evie and all the team involved😍We would highly recommend and thank the team from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing day. We also had a fantastic 3-hour DJ set included, which kept the energy going all night. The staff were incredible from start to finish, guiding us through planning and organization with such attention to detail. Their communication was fantastic; they always offered advice and responded to any queries so quickly. On the day, they made us feel so special and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The whole team truly had everything under control and made us feel completely at ease. The food was amazing, and the menu tasting was such a memorable experience—it was also included! The chef was so flexible and even tailored the meal just for us. The venue even let us borrow extras like giant games, umbrellas, and menu stands, adding a fun and personal touch to the day. What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do as little as possible on the day! Use your delightful wedding parties and family members to help transport or set anything you need up on the day before or the day of. It is the most amazing day of your lives but it can be overwhelming so don't add any additional stress to your plates, just sit back, be pampered and enjoy us looking after you!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I adore anything that shows the coming together of two families. I once saw a sand pouring ceremony where all the couple's children from previous marriages came up to the alter to pour a bag of different colour sand into a stunning decorative vase. It was a beautiful colourful keepsake to show the union of two families.

Historical, Picturesque, Luxury, Exclusive, Unique.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The chapel! Its moody lighting and intricate detail make a perfect setting for the most romantic photos.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Shh! This would be telling! As we are lucky enough to of hosted a whole range of famous TV shows and Movies we are lucky enough to say we have had some pretty big names on site!
What’s your favourite canapé?
It has to be the Roast beef, Mini Yorkshire pudding with truffle mayo. Its beyond delicious! The perfect start to welcome your guests!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our late night munchies package offers pizzas at midnight and my favourite is definitely the goats cheese, spinach and caramelised onions.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The chapel and The Cloisters. These were both built in 1805 and just bring so much character to the building. One offers a space for romantic photos, in the chapel and the other offers a space for more modern and fun photos in the cloisters.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our staff! As incredible as the building is (and it really is!) our staff are at the heart of making our weddings the most incredible days and ensuring the couples are looked after from the day of there enquiry to when they return to celebrate there one year anniversary with us.
