This magnificent mansion, set in beautiful landscaped grounds provides the perfect venue for your wedding reception. Frequented at the turn of the century by the then Prince of Wales and the famous actress Lillie Langtry, Woodlands Park continues to radiate a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Having a variety of suitable rooms for your reception, we are well equipped to cater for parties of all sizes ranging from 10 to 200 guests. The sweeping lawns with their mature oaks and the hotel’s impressive entrance provide idyllic settings for your memorable wedding photographs. Our emphasis is on quality of service. Whether helping to arrange your wedding ceremony or simply hosting your reception our team will handle everything with an experienced and friendly professional approach. Add to this the beauty of the hotel rooms, surroundings, our renowned reputation and you will have the perfect venue for your Wedding.
Visit us at one of our wedding open days in Cobham and meet with our wedding team who will be happy to show you the hotel and discuss your requirements for your special day and see our event rooms set up as they could be for your wedding day.
Our wedding fayres in Surrey are the perfect opportunity to assess Woodlands Park as your possible wedding venue and meet with the wedding team and our recommended suppliers. You will also have the opportunity to try a selection of wines and canapés. On the day our wedding team will be happy to show you the hotel and discuss the requirements for your special day. From Grace our wedding planner who ensured everything ran smoothly and gave us so many options to choose from, suitable for all budgets. Poppy on the reception desk who had a beautiful smile and offering to assist us at all times. David and Sheldon were involved in looking after us on the wedding day. Last minute changes to table set up was no issue for them and Sheldon took care of every detail. The staff who served our wedding breakfast did so with an impeccable level of service that made everyone feel special. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was as well as the service! Grace took the time to speak to our suppliers before our big day and there was not a single hiccup on the day. We stayed in the master suite which was beautiful. The bed was so comfy, room service was excellent. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us on our return which was such a lovely touch. We felt like kings and queens for the day of the wedding, nothing was too much trouble for any of the team! We chose to decorate ourselves, having had a vision from seeing the stunning reception and the Oak Room where we chose to hold our ceremony. The team were so supportive in helping us set up the decor (not part of their job), their valued expertise definitely put an anxious bride at ease to say the least. On the day Sheldon, Cheyenne & Magdi blew us away with their coordination of everything, for helping me (the bride) get 5 minutes of fresh air from the bridal suite on the day, Sheldon calming me (again the bride) when it was time to walk down the aisle and Cheyenne for all the planning and emails and phone calls to ensure we had absolutely everything ready. The day went off without a hitch and we loved every single minute of it! The Wedding breakfast was fantastic and the way they catered for those on our guest list with intolerance or allergies, surpassed even the guests expectations! One commenting, they have never been so full at a wedding and she usually carries snack bars to eat afterwards! Our guests who chose to stay at the hotel were invited to a private breakfast the day after, (45 total) and the spread they put on was absolutely out of this world. The Woodlands Park Hotel team are outstanding and are an asset to the hotel in general. The venue itself is sublime, especially if you like that national trust historic Manor House vibe. Every wedding that we have the pleasure of hosting at Woodlands Park is truly special to us. Each day is so unique it's hard for us to tell you about one which we deem better than the rest! However for us in recent times, enabling couples to have their day and say their vows after a period of uncertainty and stress is most rewarding.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The team cannot agree on a specific location, which we think shows just how diverse Woodlands Park is to different tastes. We have listed our top three below:
1. Tree Swing - a beautiful wooden swing attached to our large tree in the garden. When you take your photo you get the gorgeous exterior of the hotel in the background.
2. Our Staircase - a stunning grand traditional wooden staircase, with the original oak paneling of the Grand Hall surrounding it. This is perfect for couple photos, family shots and even bridal party shots.
3. Our Balcony - a diverse location that is above our Grand Hall and is surrounded by the original oak paneling of the building as well as the beautiful stain glass ceiling.

Woodlands Park is filled with incredible craftsmanship, every corner turned reveals something unique to marvel at. If we had to give just one feature it would be the stunning stained-glass ceiling of the Grand Hall. You can get a better look at it from the balcony too.
