Planning your Wedding should be easy, exciting and above all stress-free. As well as the perfect setting for your special day, our dedicated wedding planners’ extensive knowledge and experience will ensure your wedding dreams become reality. All you need to do is set the day!
Located in the centre of Hertfordshire, in amongst 200 acres of stunning countryside, our venue offers the perfect location for any event. Whether it is a Wedding, Birthday, Corporate Event, or Celebration of Life, or any occasion you would like to host. We will be sure to make it an unforgettable day.
In its peaceful location, the clubhouse comfortably accommodates 160 for a sit-down event in our Lake View & Salisbury Suite and up to 220 guests for a standing reception.
With recent refurbishment we now also offer the venue for exclusive use, which can hold up to 400 standing.
It also benefits from disabled access, heating throughout, as well as an easy-to-access location – being 10 minutes from Junction 23 (South Mimms) of the M25 – down a quiet country lane between Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.
With beautiful views across the golf course and lake, the Lake View & Salisbury Suite has its own private entrance, bar, and a newly renovated terrace with plenty of seating, lighting, heaters, and speakers.

Charlie & Nicola guided us through the 'Menu' tasting for our up and coming wedding. They addressed all of our questions and requirements. On the day, the marriage ceremony, wedding breakfast and celebrations all rolled-on very smoothly. Charlie and Nicola couldn't do more to help on the day. Throughout, Charlie was attentive, asking if everything was OK, and was there anything we needed. The sit-down wedding breakfast was enjoyed by all. We had numerous accolades from our guests regarding the evening buffet. The food was lovely. We were impressed with how the whole day was made more memorable by our experience with Charlie and his staff. The venue is immaculate. One of our Weddings had personalised poems for each guest to have as their place cards. It was so touching as it was a way to share your memories with each guest and they doubled as a Wedding favour.
