We had the best time of our lives, impeccable service and food was simply delicious! Sandra Costa and Kornelia gave us all the support and attention we needed. Spartaco and his team were amazing! No faults on the service! Could not be any better! Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable! Without any doubts, it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in our lives! The whole day was brilliantly organised (Kornelia came in on a day off to ensure it was perfect), the Library is perfect for a small intimate ceremony and reception, food in the Conservatory for 30 was excellent, table service was 5* - unobtrusive and detail-perfect - and the hotel provided some delightful touches - a room upgrade, a wedding cake and champagne in there to greet us, every detail was taken care of. For a central London luxury venue, it was excellent value, it's the sort of place where we could slump on the leather sofas in the bar, take your shoes off and relax. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, be it for a meeting, lunch, London overnight stay or the event that changes your life. We were having a small intimate wedding with 25 guests and were able to use the library for the ceremony and reception and the beautiful conservatory for the dinner. We viewed the hotel with the food & beverage manager, Biaggio who truly sold the venue to us! The Chesterfield is a perfect venue for a very special wedding: grand without being stuffy, cosy and charming but what makes this hotel very special is the excellent customer service. We would like to thank all of the staff with special thanks for Samantha Langaas and Biagio Sarubbi for helping us organise the perfect wedding. The staff truly went out of their way throughout the day to make sure everything was perfect, from dressing of the rooms to accommodating our complicated dietary needs. Sam very kindly searched for a pianist/singer for us and provided meals for our photographer and our pianist. We also received a room upgrade and lovely card and bottle of champagne in our suite on our wedding night! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the food and wine excellent. I stayed at the hotel the night before our wedding and although our wedding night was complimentary, I was upgraded to the Chesterfield suite for both nights. The Chesterfield suite was stunning and when my husband and I arrived back at the hotel on our wedding night we had been left a lovely bottle of champagne and a card. The breakfast was delicious and the doorman were very welcoming. Our wedding day was perfection. The canapés during the champagne reception were delicious, original and presented elegantly at timed intervals, the bubbly kept flowing and no glass was ever empty thanks to the vigilant and smiling waiting staff. In the meantime, the kids had an excellent time at the Charlie and The Chesterfield afternoon tea. The maître d' was extremely efficient, friendly and no single detail escaped him. My mother's dog had a comfortable cushion in every room she set her paws in, perfectly sized chicken and duck bites during dinner; she even got her own doggy bag! So, if you are an animal lover and tired of the ways your furry friend gets treated in some establishments, The Chesterfield Mayfair is the place to go! The dinner in The Conservatory wowed everyone! The set up of the table was sumptuous to say the least and our guests were mesmerised by the beauty of the setting. The food was excellent - something that is not an easy achievement during weddings - we went for the Gold Menu and literally everybody praised the finesse of every course. The wine was outstanding, i.e. wine lovers can rest assured that the sommelier at The Chesterfield really is an expert. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the most memorable weddings at The Chesterfield Mayfair began with a heartfelt ceremony in our light-filled Conservatory. With sunlight pouring through the glass roof and a simple floral setup, the space offered a warm, intimate setting for the couple to exchange their vows in front of their closest family and friends.
After the ceremony, guests moved into the elegant Library for a relaxed drinks reception. Surrounded by shelves of vintage books and rich wood paneling, the room felt both classic and welcoming. Champagne and canapés were served while soft live music played in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere for guests to mingle.
While guests mingled, the Conservatory was reset for the evening wedding dinner. As night fell, the room took on a completely different mood—candlelit tables, elegant tableware, and a seasonal menu crafted by our Executive Chef. The setting felt both personal and stylish, perfect for heartfelt speeches and a relaxed, celebratory dinner.
The day was a perfect reflection of the couple, elegant, personal, and full of warmth, made even more special by the distinctive charm of our Mayfair venue.

Focus on how you want the day to feel, not just how it looks.
It’s easy to get caught up in details like flowers, colour palettes, and table settings, but the most memorable weddings are the ones where the couple’s personality shines through and guests genuinely enjoy themselves. Think about the atmosphere you want to create, relaxed, elegant, fun, intimate and let that guide your decisions.
Everything else will fall into place more naturally.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A couple once wrote handwritten notes to each guest and placed them at each dinner setting in the Conservatory. It was simple but incredibly meaningful guests were genuinely moved, and it set a warm, emotional tone for the evening.
It reminded us that personal touches don’t need to be grand to be unforgettable, they just need to be sincere.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
One of the best photo spots at The Chesterfield Mayfair is the Conservatory, especially during golden hour. The natural light, glass ceiling, and leafy backdrop create a soft, romantic setting that’s perfect for both candid moments and posed portraits.
For a more classic look, the Library offers rich textures and a timeless, vintage feel ideal for couple shots or moody evening photos.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We might have., but we’ll never tell! Discretion is part of what we do best. Whether it’s a big name or a quiet celebration, every couple gets the same care, privacy, and attention to detail.
What’s your favourite canapé?
It’s hard to choose just one, but the Wild Mushroom Arancini with Truffle Mayonnaise is always a standout. It’s rich, comforting, and a real crowd-pleaser, especially when served during winter weddings. For summer, the Seared Tuna with Sesame Mayonnaise and Pickled Ginger is light, fresh, and beautifully balanced.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
The chilli cheese toastie is a personal favourite, rich cheddar, a little kick from green chilli, and always served with fries. After a long night of dancing and celebrating, it’s exactly the kind of comfort food everyone loves.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Stanley’s Rooftop! a beautiful, open-air space licensed for wedding ceremonies. It’s a rare find in central London: a rooftop setting that feels both private and romantic, with views over Mayfair’s skyline. Whether it’s a sunny afternoon ceremony or golden hour drinks, it brings something truly special to the day.
