Description

With exclusive hire, three licenced ceremony areas, on-site accommodation that sleeps 43, our brand new glam room and wedding coordination, our team will ensure you can enjoy your special day and make memories that will last a lifetime. We offer styling packages including full table decor, large LOVE letters, donut walls and sweet carts to help ease the planning.

We have seven cottages that sleep 35 plus on-site camping, shepherds huts and a luxury honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes. The cottages offer a central courtyard with large wooden gazebo, BBQ, furnishings and a fire pit so you can get together the night before your wedding with some sundowners.

The bar will be open an hour before your ceremony allowing your guests to mingle in anticipation of your arrival. Your guests will be seated before you make your entrance into our glass fronted barn or outside on the lower terrace, with both options taking advantage of the stunning views. Once you've tied the knot, your guests can enjoy a glass of Pimms, beer or bubbly from our drinks packages, served by our team. Whilst you have your photos taken, in front of the lakes, palm trees, farm lanes, on the hammock, swing or sweeping terraces, guests can make the most of our lawn games, before you sit down to dine from one of our hand picked caterers.

Thoughtfully crafted from locally sourced ingredients, including Pengelly’s own hand reared beef from 2027. Our feast style menus are designed to be shared, savoured, and remembered. From rustic starters and hearty mains to show stopping desserts, every dish, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergen friendly is made with care. Seasonal menus and additional treats like courtyard BBQs, breakfast hampers, and evening bites ensure your multi-day celebration is full of flavour and connection.

The best day of our lives!The best day of our lives!
We had the most amazing wedding at The Barn at Pengelly. Our wedding coordinator Emily was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was key in making the final details of our wedding come together. Some of our guests stayed in the cottages on site also which they loved. They’re very warm with underfloor heating and log burners inside. We all got to spend time together the night before the wedding up at the cottages which was lovely. If you’re looking to get married this is the most amazing wedding venue that has everything you could want! We had an indoor ceremony but there is also the option to have your wedding outside too! We had the most amazing wedding at The Barn at Pengelly. Our wedding coordinator Emily was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was key in making the final details of our wedding come together. Emily and all the team at the barn at pengelly are excellent. We got married mid October at the stunning venue. We viewed the venue over a year ago, it was torrential rain (the joys of Cornwall) and we still loved the venue. We hoped to do the ceremony outside however due to the weather it was all moved inside. Emily made the day seamless, the ceremony area looked stunning and she helped to achieve our overall vision. Nothing wasn’t too much for us. We also used the glam room, I’d highly recommend if it isn’t included in your booking yet. The venue is stunning, the team are amazing. Our experience as bride and groom for our wedding at the barn at pengelly was nothing short of perfection. From booking to the end of our stay there it was seamless and the amount of thought that goes into what they do is incredible. We want to personally shout out Catherin for being so so helpful through every step. Nothing was too much trouble. The venue is absolutely stunning and perfectly set up for a wedding. The bar staff were incredible. Just flawless and would highly recommend. Special shout to the glam room as well- WOW that made getting ready so much more magical! Wow.....what can I say?! From start to finish The Barn at Pengelly were fantastic! They were so helpful and so quick at getting back to me when we ever had a question. All staff are so friendly but I have to give a special thanks to our wedding Coordinator, Emily. She was just amazing. Gave us ideas when we were stuck, made us feel so welcomed and especially relaxed on the day. We truly couldn't of done this without her. The Barn is just so beautiful along with the amazing cottages. I want to do it all over again!Wow.....what can I say?! From start to finish The Barn at Pengelly were fantastic! The Barn at Pengelly was an obvious choice for our wedding. We wanted chilled out vibes with plenty of accommodation for our wedding party to make it feel like a holiday for them too - it did not disappoint! All communication with the Barn was top notch and honestly, as a couple we felt so valued and like we really mattered. Emily, our coordinator, was the shining light in our day. She kept everything going and was so enthusiastic about us. Everything from the little touches to making sure we were fed and watered the day before. No stone was left unturned by her and trust me, if you have her as your coordinator, you will have the most magical day because she’s just so on it. We felt so incredibly lucky to have her. The accommodation was incredible, spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble. The day itself was beautiful. Us girls got ready in the glam room and although this was not included in the price, I feel lucky that I was able to have it as it really did keep me away from the hustle and bustle of the busier accommodation. It was the perfect spot to get ready with my bridal party and there was lots of space for everyone, make up and hair to do their thang! ✨ The honeymoon cabin was perfect too. The most enchanting way to wake up and spend our first night as Mr and Mrs! All communication with the barn was the best thing really. They sent us little gifts in the post to let us know we were valued, little emails here and there and really, this is what stands out. You feel like you matter and each little event you were invited to made you feel you were part of a little community! Catering was seamless and Emily ensured our evening went so smoothly, even if we had last minute changes of plan. All our dessert table was put together so aesthetically and everything just looked so chic. From start to finish (3 years) The Barn has been so patient and understanding with us having to change our wedding date due to illness, house moves, broken bones and pregnancy! Nothing was ever too much for them! We finally made our dreams come true, Emily went above and beyond for us and we will be forever thankful! I wish we could do it all over again!
