Congratulations on your engagement and forthcoming wedding! We would like to wish you a warm welcome to the Balmer Lawn Hotel. We are the only privately owned 4* hotel in the forest, so you are sure to receive a very personal service and one in which you are made to feel like true VIP's and Ruth our dedicated Wedding Executive will work with you through your whole planning journey, offering you support and guidance along the way. Less than 2 hours drive from London, half an hour from the coast and right in the middle of the New Forest, we are the perfect location to host your wedding.

They have an incredible supplier list that work seamlessly with the venue and each other to create the most beautiful bespoke day which was better than we could have dreamed. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff went above and beyond to welcome us and our guests. Thank you Ruth, Charlotte, Briony and everyone else for helping us create such a perfect day!We booked the Balmer Lawn's Everything But the Dress Package and couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. They have an incredible supplier list that work seamlessly with the venue and each other to create the most beautiful bespoke day which was better than we could have dreamed. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff went above and beyond to welcome us and our guests. As well as loving the beautiful setting and adoring the hotel, Ruth’s calm and informative approach fully sold the hotel to us as our wedding venue. Ruth was always readily available whenever I needed her on emails and via phone. We felt the day went so smoothly and just as we had hoped. Overall, we loved our wedding day and couldnt be happier with how it went. Nothing was ever to much for them they went above and beyond from start to finish, Ruth was there and answered every single emails and endless questions no matter how small the question is. Everyone was polite and welcoming, when we arrived the reception staff took all our wedding stuff and put it away and they put everything the way we wanted it. We couldn’t of askWe had our wedding at the Balmer lawn on the 7th October and it was perfect, the hotel and staff were amazing from start to finish! The Balmer Lawn team took care of everything exactly the way we wanted it, every detail was spot on. This meant that the day itself was relaxed, happy and fun, nothing was too much trouble for Lindsey and her excellent team. I cannot recommend this wedding venue highly enough. The stay at the hotel was equally good, we stayed 3 nights. ExcellentWe just had our daughter’s wedding at Balmer Lawn. What a fabulous experience. Having previously enjoyed family breaks here, we enquired as to whether they would do a mini-sized wedding. Ruth, their Weddings Coordinator, confirmed that they would and so we went ahead - just ten of us in total. Their planning was superb and the outcome, on the day, was a relaxed family occasion which was great fun. Every single member of staff seemed to know that we were the Bride and Groom and wM and I are getting on a tad so it seemed a good idea to “formalise” ourselves and get married. We opted for the Everything but the dress package and I cannot recommend it enough. All the vendors involved have been amazing and so accommodating. Everyone put us first and nothing we asked for was too much. Ruth has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish, the kindest person we've met. Cannot even describe what a good experience we had with Balmer Lawn. Our special day has exceeded all our expectations.
