The Astbury Golf & Lodge Resort is a countryside wedding venue, whether you are planning to enjoy an intimate or large-scale wedding (up to 120 guests), this venue can set the stage for your special day.
The Astbury offers several ceremony locations in our private rooms in The Manor or in the Walled Garden. Located in Bridgnorth, The Astbury is set within 300 acres of parkland, within the rolling hills of Shropshire, this beautiful getaway is defined by its combination of timeless elegance and rustic charm. Ideal for magical and unforgettable memories.
The state is all refurbished with experienced background team bringing the wealth of knowledge to create an unique place.
Our Head Chef invests time in creating wedding menus inspired by locally sourced ingredients, providing outstanding quality in every occasion.
Enjoy fine wines from our local wine merchant, who supply us with a wide variety to suit all palettes. Our experienced Food and Beverage team always deliver an impeccable service.

After more than 20 years in the Hospitality trade and looking after hundreds of couple to make their dream wedding, I landed in The Astbury Hall, the best decision ever.

All our guests were commenting on how great everything was & we couldn't agree more! Nothing was too much trouble, guests with dietary requirements, rain contingency plans (not needed!), rooms to change etc. The venue was perfect for all the photos - beautiful house, gardens, staircase & golf course. I absolutely recommend!!We honestly couldn't have been happier with The Astbury! The venue, staff, food & bar were all more than we had hoped for! All our guests were commenting on how great everything was & we couldn't agree more! Nothing was too much trouble, guests with dietary requirements, rain contingency plans (not needed!), rooms to change etc. The venue was perfect for all the photos - beautiful house, gardens, staircase & golf course. Luckily, we had a lovely sunny day so we were able to have our ceremony outside with the stunning views of the golf course surrounding us. This was really relaxed and it meant our little girl could come and go without being restricted. Our reception was in the beautiful tipi. I can’t thank The Astbury enough for all the effort they put into our day and making sure everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish, start being viewing the venue in the first place, we were so well looked after. We are very lucky to live so close to this venue to use the facilities whenever we want to! We had our wedding at The Astbury and it was just perfection. The service, the beauty of the venue, the food. Everything was amazing. Luckily, we had a lovely sunny day so we were able to have our ceremony outside with the stunning views of the golf course surrounding us. The staff went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly and as perfect as it was! The venue is beautiful and the perfect place to get married. In February 2022 we got engaged in the tipi and by March had our wedding booked for our big day 22nd October 2022. It was absolutely beautiful with amazing scenery for our photos, you just couldn’t ask for better. After some minor hiccups along the way and sitting down to discuss all the details we wanted, we were set to go. Down to the food we wanted which was catered it all to a high quality and tasted amazing, to the lay out of the benches/tables in the tipi. The staff we all amazing and were patient when the mini bus didn’t arrive on time to take us home. Thank you so much Astbury for making our wedding such a special evening and a day to remember So where to begin… As soon as my husband showed me the Tipi being built at Astbury I knew straight away this was where I would want our wedding reception to be at. I have to say Val was brilliant! Amazing location with lovely views, fantastic and friendly staff who went above and beyond! we visited the restaurant too a week later and again we werent disappointed the food was lovely 😊 we will definitely be making it a regular place to visit, lots of different events coming up over the next few months!Where do i start, this place and the staff are amazing! we got married here over a week ago and I couldn't of asked for anything better!
