When you tie the knot at The Alverton our venue hire includes:

Our venue hire varies depending on day of the week and season.
If your guest numbers are between 4 and 30, we offer a bespoke venue hire package starting from £1500. This package includes a three-course meal and a drink following the ceremony. For more information, please ask us to send you our intimate wedding brochure.

From the start of the planning process right through to after the wedding, Sally and Clare (wedding and events team) were fantastic. We were so impressed with the detail they went into for every aspect of our special day and they seemed genuinely excited to listen to our plans. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were easy to contact if we wanted to arrange meetings or update our plans. On the actual day, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect - which it truly was! The rest of the staff throughout the day were also brilliant and many of our guests commented on how accommodating the staff were. The food was fantastic and the team were very accommodating for different dietary requirements. The honeymoon suite was stylish, spacious and comfortable. We even had a lovely surprise bottle of bubbly left for us along with a Polaroid picture that Clare took of us from earlier in the day! An added touch which felt really special. All in all, if you are thinking of using The Alverton for your wedding day or perhaps another special event - just do it! They are a pleasure to work along side and I guarantee you that there’s a pot of tea waiting for me for when I arrive every time! As for the venue itself, The Great Hall is awesome to have a ceremony in as it’s the closest thing to a Church/Chapel venue without having to have a religious service and the sound is epic. The food at the wedding breakfast always looks super and the food that I always have is of the highest quality. I cannot comment on the rooms as never stayed, but if like the rest of The Alverton then they’re A1. I love the place and the people that work there. Both the build up organisation and running of the day allowed us both to have a relaxing and stress free day, which was so important to us. The food was delicious, from the canapes to the meal to the evening buffet, everything tasted amazing and was presented beautifully. All of our 100+ guests were well looked after throughout the day and are still commenting on how incredible it was. The Alverton as a venue just has a magical feel to it and the staff are so professional and friendly. It really was our dream day!From start to finish our whole wedding experience at The Alverton was faultless. From the beginning, the booking team listened to exactly what we wanted and provided exactly that. The waiting staff were professional, friendly and courteous. The venue for the wedding was so special and all of the staff were fantastic. We couldn’t have been treated any better. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was always happy to help.
