On Sun Street, the past and the future stand side by side, embodying the elegant formality of the City and the vibrant cultural and culinary scene of Shoreditch. The six Georgian houses that form the front of Sun Street Hotel – conceived by the renowned architect George Dance the Younger in the 1800s – speak of a quieter age, while the ever-changing skyline around us is indicative of the buzzing, thriving, international city that London has become.
Today, Sun Street is a labyrinth of luxury, now enhanced by the opening of the exciting new restaurant, LIMA Shoreditch. Here, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant flavours of Peruvian cuisine and indulge in an unforgettable culinary experience.
Getting Married with us!
Our dining and cellar rooms transform into a space to host your ceremony. The panelled walls and Herringbone flooring allow for a beautiful and intimate setting for you and your loved ones to share this special moment. This space can host up to 50 guests with an aisle for your entrance.
Our sunlit Peruvian restaurant, LIMA is placed in the heart of our hotel. This is the space where your Wedding breakfast and evening reception can be hosted. This space is incredibly versatille and can be transformed into your vision completely.
Our 41 bedrooms are all beautifully designed by Bowler James Brindley. A eccentric renouned designer who has really crafted these townhouse bedrooms each into something special. We would love to host your guests overnight too so the celebrations can continue together!
Our team is dedicated to look after you and your guests on your big day. There will be somebody to organise and plan your day miticulously to make sure we can make your dreams a reality here at Sun Street Hotel.

We were checked-in quickly, without fuss on arrival, and offered a welcome glass of fizz, which was a nice touch. We booked a superior room, which was a decent size and had a separate area with a sofa and TV. The bathroom was huge with a lovely free-standing bath and possibly the best shower I’ve ever been in. They were married in the town hall and we all made our way back for a party. Food was superb and so were the staff. We had champagne in our room upon arrival & the room was beautiful, comfy bed and dreamy bathtub. Breakfast was delicious also! One of the most heartwarming personal touches I've seen at a wedding was when the couple included handwritten notes to each guest at their place setting. These notes were personalised messages expressing gratitude and appreciation for the presence of each guest in their lives. It was a beautiful gesture that made every attendee feel valued and special, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere throughout the celebration.
