FACILITIES AND CAPACITY: Church of England wedding ceremonies can take place in the traditional chancel area. The building can then be magically transformed for your reception and evening celebrations. For those getting married elsewhere, the lychgate makes a stunning backdrop as you walk along the path up to this beautiful building for your reception. The building can comfortably accommodate up to 100 loved ones for a seated meal or up to 120 for a reception with plenty of room for sitting and dancing as well as a band. A high-quality audio-visual system and drop-down screen and projector, as well as the beautiful acoustics of the building itself, all add further style to this impressive space. SERVICES OFFERED: The highly experienced team will be delighted to assist you in planning your special day. St John's Place offers various services to ensure an unforgettable event for every couple. The space is fully licensed, and guests can party away until midnight. Venue hire is from the evening before the event, allowing plenty of time to prepare the stunning venue, all of the day itself until the morning afterwards (i.e. Friday evening - Sunday midday). The hire package includes exclusive use of the building, including furniture, a modern kitchen, underflooring heating, accessible facilities, an AV system and large, drop-down projector and a wonderful building with amazing acoustics. Couples are welcome to work with a caterer of their choice, or otherwise we can recommend our regular culinary team who can create something delectable for the special day, including a bar. Opposite is a public car park with the option to arrange additional parking next to the venue. A very short walk away, along marked paths, are a number of lovely properties that guests can stay in.
