If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s truly personal and set against a stylish, industrial backdrop, Shoreditch Studios is the perfect choice. Located in the heart of East London’s vibrant street art district, this unique dry-hire venue offers a versatile space where you can bring your wedding vision to life.
The Space
Shoreditch Studios features two connected railway arch studios, combining over 3,500 square feet of flexible event space. Both studios showcase high ceilings, exposed Victorian brickwork, and an industrial-chic vibe—giving you a blank canvas to design your day exactly how you want it.
- Studio 1: The larger studio spans 2,000 sq ft and includes a mezzanine lounge accessible by a spiral staircase. This elevated space is ideal for speeches or live music, while the main floor features a striking white infinity cove—perfect for your ceremony backdrop or creative video projections.
- Studio 2: A more intimate space, great for receptions or pre-dinner drinks.
- Outdoor Courtyard: A spacious, private courtyard offers a rare outdoor option right in the city.
Capacities and Ceremonies
- Civil Ceremonies: Shoreditch Studios is fully licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can celebrate your entire wedding day in one place.
- Guest Capacity for Ceremonies: Studio 1 seats up to 170 guests, while Studio 2 accommodates up to 100 guests comfortably.
- Reception Capacity: Host a seated banquet for up to 170 guests or a standing reception for as many as 350 people.
Flexibility and Planning
As a dry-hire venue, Shoreditch Studios puts you in control. Bring your own caterers, florists, and other suppliers to create a wedding that’s uniquely yours. You can even supply your own drinks with no corkage fee. While you have the freedom to work with any wedding planner or vendor, the venue also offers an in-house wedding manager to support your planning and recommend trusted partners.
Your hire includes exclusive use of the venue from 9 am until midnight, with options to extend if you want to keep the celebration going later.

What's Included?

Choice of preferred caterers
Shoreditch Studios venue dry hire from £7200 (inclusive of VAT) for any available sate (higher rates for public holidays and NYE). Venue hire includes exclusive use of the whole venue from 9am until midnight (late extensions available for an additional fee) and courtyard access for guests until 8pm.
An average wedding in the venue costs between £27,000 and £33,000 (inclusive of VAT) - Based on a ceremony for 120 guests, a 3 course seated wedding breakfast for 120 guests and a reception party for 150 guests with a stocked bar, DJ and late extension until 2am. We are happy to take the time to sit down and discuss your wedding plans and budget and connect you with a range of suppliers who can provide you with no-obligation quotes for anything you need for your wedding day including furniture, lighting, catering, bar or DJ hire rates. You are also welcome to shop around for a catering supplier, BYO bar stock or dress the venue as you wish. Shoreditch Studios is a flexible and accommodating venue, ready to be transformed for you and your partner's unique wedding day. The building itself is really beautiful with a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere - many of our guests commented on how much they loved it. It looked fab with all our added decorations - it's the perfect canvas for wedding sparkle! And the venue staff, particularly John, were just incredibly helpful at every stage, from showing us around initially to liaising with suppliers about logistics. Several of our suppliers commented on how good an experience they'd had in planning. We really appreciated how communicative, organised, flexible and friendly they were. Everything with the venue was just very smooth and easy.
